CAST BIOS

LUKE PERRY (Matt Austin) – In 1989, was chosen for a starring role on the internationally popular television series “Beverly Hills 90210,” in which he portrayed the brooding but sensitive Dylan McCay. The highly-rated program won a Golden Globe Award for Best Dramatic Television series in 1991.

Perry made his feature film debut in a starring role in “,” the remarkable account of champion bull rider Lane Frost, which he co-produced. His serious devotion to the inspirational legend of Lane Frost led him to train vigorously for 18 months in order to master the techniques of bull riding and to be able to perform many of his own stunts during production. Other film credits include Columbia’s “Fifth Element,” directed by , “Riot” for Showtime, “Normal Life,” “American Strays” and “The Florentine,” in which he co-stared with , Jim Belushi, Michael Madsen and Mary Stuart Masterson.

Not one to be typecast because of his work on “90210,” Perry’s television credits include a myriad of roles, including a lead in the NBC drama “Windfall,” HBO’s “John From Cincinnati,” starring for two seasons on “Jeremiah,” the Showtime Network sci-fi series, a multi-episode arc on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “OZ,” in which he portrayed a televangelist convicted of fraud, as well as roles in Hallmark Channel productions “Johnson County War” and “Supernova.”

Perry made his debut on Broadway in the critically acclaimed musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show, where he portrayed “Brad,” the character originally played by Barry Bostwick in the cult film classic. In 2004, Perry appeared onstage in London opposite Allyson Hannigan in “When Harry Met Sally.” # # #

C. THOMAS HOWELL (Lamar Horn) – C. Thomas Howell was born in and began acting at an early age, appearing in “The Little People” and “It Happened One Christmas,” before being cast in Stephen Spielberg’s “E.T.” As a boy, he was a junior circuit rodeo champion, and was named the California Junior Rodeo Association’s All Around Junior Boy’s Champion in 1980 and 1981.

Howell’s first starring role was as Ponyboy, the lead in Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of The Outsiders. His work in the film lead to a starring role in the TV series “Two Marriages,” as well as roles in several films, including “Red Dawn,” “Soul Man” and “Hitcher.” Although the role eventually went to Michael J. Fox, Howell was one of the last actors in the running to play Marty McFly in the “Back to the Future.” Recently, Howell has appeared in such TV shows as “ER” and “24.”

In addition to acting, Howell has directed several films, including “The Big Fall,” “Pure Danger” and “Hourglass,” which he also co-wrote. In 2002 he produced “Hope Ranch,” which he co-wrote with his father. His upcoming films include “House of Fallen” with Corbin Bernsen.

Howell resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three children. He enjoys golfing, watching sports and tending to his family’s horse ranch.

FRANCESCO QUINN (Sheriff Montero) – Perhaps best known for his portrayal of underground drug king Rhah in 's Academy Award-winning Platoon, is one of the film industry's most versatile young actors. Intent on following in the footsteps of his father, Oscar winner , who had appeared in more than 200 pictures, Francesco has already racked up some impressive film credits, setting him well on his way. He was the lead guest star in an episode of "JAG," which won the show a 29 share (the highest rating in its history) and had a lead role in TNT's “Rough Riders.”

His versatile acting style has landed him multiple television guest star roles, including “24,” “Alias,” “NCIS” and “.” He starred for a year-and-a-half stint on the CBS soap opera “Young and the Restless,” for which he was nominated for an ALMA Award as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama for his work as Tomas Del Cerro, an aloof writer from New York.

Besides his numerous roles on television, Quinn has appeared in 23 feature films including the New York Independent Film Festival winner “Placebo Effect.” He has starred with his famous father in several films, including “A Star for Two” with . His upcoming projects include “Hell Ride” with , Vinnie Jones and Eric Balfour and “Buttermilk Sky” with Michael Madsen and Louis Gossett, Jr. His film, “The Tonto Woman,” was nominated for an Academy Award this year in the category Best Film Short.

An accomplished athlete, Quinn enjoys extreme sports such as skiing, , windsurfing, and free diving. And you’ll never see him without a bike. He road cycles at least 300 miles a week, mountain bikes, and actively races and street bikes. Francesco isn’t just about peddling though; he’s an avid motorcyclist, and is a spokesperson for The Motorcycle Industry Council and Honda.

Born in , but world traveled, he is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Quinn is married to the "love of his life and soul mate," Julie, and they reside with their twins in Los Angeles.

JACLYN DESANTIS (Amaya) – Jaclyn DeSantis previously worked with Luke Perry on the NBC drama “Windfall.” Born in Long Island, NY, she will appear in the upcoming film, “Way of War,” with JK Simmons, Cuba Gooding, Jr and Clarence Williams III. Her hobbies include painting, writing, photography, dancing, and yoga. DeSantis is an international deejay with the group Gaia Tribe.

JORGE-LUIS PALLO (Samuel) – Jorge-Luis Pallo received his BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. After graduation he relocated to California in pursuit of his artistic dreams. Since living in Los Angeles, he has amassed an impressive acting resume in both television and film. Pallo’s appearances include recurring roles on “24,” Showtime's critically acclaimed “Resurrection Blvd,” guest starring roles on “CSI Miami,” “Numb3rs,” “Medium,” “Malcolm in The Middle,” “Charmed” and others, in addition to a principle role on The Sci Fi Channel's “The Lost Room.” Ammasing an impressive film resume as well, Pallo has had supporting roles in Robert Redford's “Lions for Lambs” and two films, “Minority Report” and “War of the Worlds.”

Pallo is also a theatre and short film director and a co-founding member of Should Entertainment LLC, a film production company. As a member of the Scott Sedita Acting Studios, he has found a new way to appreciate the art of acting. For the last two and a half years he has been head of the studio’s On-Camera Young Adult division and feels grateful for the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience with young actors.
