Sl. Courses Eligibility Criteria Programme Schedule No. 1 M.A. in Bengali Admission starts Hons. / Spl. Hons. / on through SB 15.06.2019 2 M.A. in English General Graduate Collect (10+2+3) with 3 M.A. in History qualifying marks in Admission ends on through SB 16.08.2019 4 M.A. in Education the subject concerned carrying a Collect 5 M.Sc. in Zoology total of at least 300 marks. 6 M.Sc. in Botany „or‟ Pass Graduate Commencement M.A./M.Sc. in 01.09.2019 7 (10+2+2) with one - of PCP Geography year bridge course in M.Sc. in relevant subject. 8 Mathematics Note: 1. A candidate with M.A subject is eligible to get admission in M.A in any other subject (other than M.A in Education) offered through Distance Education Mode irrespective of whether or not that subject was offered at the degree stage. But the candidates with M.A in any professional subject like Music, Drama, Film Studies and other subjects viz, Physical Education (M.P.Ed) and General Education (M.Ed.) etc. will not be eligible to avail of the provision. 2. In case of M.A in Education, Graduates or Post Graduates with B.Ed. or equivalent degrees are also eligible besides those who meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions. For M.A. courses, students can be admitted in the University of Kalyani Main Campus (Head Quarter) along with approved 25 Study Centers. For M.Sc Courses, students can be admitted only in the University of Kalyani Main Campus (Head Quarter). 1 Admission Process: 1) Applicants are advised to visit DODL website http:// dodl.klyuniv.ac.in/ for downloading Application and Enrolment forms and payment of course fee on and from 15th June, 2019 to 16th August,2019. 2) For downloading Application and Enrolment forms, click “DODL: M.A/M.Sc. Semester Admission, 2019-20” Application Form (consisting of 2 pages) Enrolment (consisting of 1 page) 3) Payment of Course fees: Online through “SBI Collect” (Steps are available at the DODL website: http:// dodl.klyuniv.ac.in from 15th June, 2019). 4) After successful online payment of Course Fee, duly filled in Application Form and Enrolment Form accompanied by 02 (two) Passport size color photograph of the applicant, 03 (three) photocopies of e-receipt of payment of SBI Collect and other testimonials as mentioned in the Application Form are to be submitted to the DODL office or relevant approved study centers where he/she is being admitted. 5) Students are required to preserve Bank payment confirmation e-receipt carefully for future reference.     ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohammed Abubakar Clarkson Mohammed Abubakar Clarkson is currently working as Lecturer-II in Department of Agricultural Technology, Agricultural & Bio-environmental Engineering Unit of Federal Polytechnic Bali, Nigeria. He is B. Eng (Agric), MSc Env. Pollution Control, PhD (Farm Power & Machinery). He is an out and out academic person, published papers in reputed journals. His research interest is on bioremediation of contaminated land and renewable energy (Biomass volarization). Currently he is working on a project to identify the presence of asbestos around some residential areas, bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil and pre-treatment of lignocellulosic biomass for biofuel production (working to develop a novel pre-treatment substances to deconstruct the lignin-hemicellulose-cellulose complexes with no or minimal production of refractory substances). Clarkson is Nigerian in nationality. Amit Kumar Chakrabarty Dr. A. K. Chakrabarty (b.1971) has bright academic career. He completed PG in Commerce with 1st Class in 1994, M. Phil with ‘A-Grade’ in 1997, B. Ed. with 1st Class in 1996 from BU and awarded Ph.D. degree from KU in 2008 for his outstanding research on LICI.
