ABOUT the AUTHOR Mohammed Abubakar ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohammed Abubakar Clarkson Mohammed Abubakar Clarkson is currently working as Lecturer-II in Department of Agricultural Technology, Agricultural & Bio-environmental Engineering Unit of Federal Polytechnic Bali, Nigeria. He is B. Eng (Agric), MSc Env. Pollution Control, PhD (Farm Power & Machinery). He is an out and out academic person, published papers in reputed journals. His research interest is on bioremediation of contaminated land and renewable energy (Biomass volarization). Currently he is working on a project to identify the presence of asbestos around some residential areas, bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil and pre-treatment of lignocellulosic biomass for biofuel production (working to develop a novel pre-treatment substances to deconstruct the lignin-hemicellulose-cellulose complexes with no or minimal production of refractory substances). Clarkson is Nigerian in nationality. Amit Kumar Chakrabarty Dr. A. K. Chakrabarty (b.1971) has bright academic career. He completed PG in Commerce with 1st Class in 1994, M. Phil with ‘A-Grade’ in 1997, B. Ed. with 1st Class in 1996 from BU and awarded Ph.D. degree from KU in 2008 for his outstanding research on LICI. At present, he is an Assistant Professor in Commerce of Chakdaha College, WB, previously served as AT in a H.S. School (WBBSE) and got chance to join at Asansol BB College and KNUST, Ghana. Prolific writer, Dr. Chakrabarty wrote two research books, 39 research articles in journals of repute and got invitations from Mexico, Paris & Bangkok to present paper in International Seminars. He is an empanelled research supervisor of KU and Editor, Editorial Board Member & Reviewer of many PR journals. One UGC sponsored MRP on ‘Tourism Industry’ was completed by him in 2016. G. Kumaravelu Dr. G. Kumaravelu is currently working as a Post Doctoral Fellow in School of Education at Pondicherry University. He completed his PhD in the School of Education at Pondicherry University in 2015. His research interest includes Educational Statistics, Research Methodology, and Educational Technology. He had presented many papers in National Conference and International Conferences. He had published 25 papers in National and International Journals. Further he had edited two books, One on Women empowerment and entrepreneurial dimensions and the other on Wellness education. Iftikar Alam Dr. Iftikar Alam is a geographer with a sound academic record and professional achievement. He studied his high school at Sargachi Ramkrishna Mission High School, Murshidabad. Then he passed Higher Secondary from Krishnath College School, Berhampore, Murshidabad. He obtained Bachelor degree from reputed Aligarh Muslim University with 1st class. He also obtained Master degree from AMU with 1st class in 1st position (University Medallist). He joined as an Assistant Professor in Geography at Chakdaha College after long service as an Assistant Teacher at Cossimbazar Mahajan Samity High School, Murshidabad. His paper published in many national and international journals. Presently he is working as a Head, Department of Geography, Chakdaha College,Chakdaha, Nadia.Jayabrata Ghosh Jayabrata Ghosh Passed M. Com. from the University of Kalyani and then completed ICWA (Inter). He served as a Part-time Lecturer in Commerce at Kalyani Mahavidyalaya, Nadia. Presently serving as Assistant Professor of Commerce at Ranaghat College, Ranaghat, Nadia, West Bengal since 2006. He is the Teachers’ Representative of the Governing Body of Ranaghat College and also acting as Bursar of the college. He is also discharging the responsibilities as Coordinator of IGNOU Regular Study Centre-28143 of Ranaghat College from its inception in the year 2014. Also acting as Counsellor of IGNOU for UG and PG courses. Mr. Ghosh published/presented some papers at National and State level seminars/journals. Kamal Saha Kamal Saha (b. 1976) completed PG in History from University of Kalyani, B Ed with 1st class, completed State Eligibility Test (SET), Joined Pritilata Waddedar Mahavidyalaya as lecturer (GAPTT) in the Department of History. he has served as Teacher - In-Charge from 24/11/2008 to 20.02.2015, now he is HOD of Department of History and Co-ordinator of Study Centre of MA, DODL. Before these he was acted as NSS Programme Officer and Nodal Officer of SC/ST/OBC of this College. Also he is a Councillor of NSOU in history of Sudhiranjan Lahiri Mahavidyalaya, Majdia. He has some published research article in journals and patrika. Ranu Biswas Ranu Biswas currently working as an Assistant Professor in Bengali of Dwijewndralal College, WB. She completed B. A honours in Bengali at Chakdaha College in year 2002 and M.A in Bengali from Kalyani University, India, in the year 2004. Her area of interest is essays and Modern Poems of Bengali literature. Mis Biswas published her first book in December, 2015, which was a review work on “Baro Ghar Ek Uthon” by Jotirindra Nandi published from Bangiyo Sahityyo Parisad. She was a Sadharon Sampadok of an edited volume titled "Janmo Shatobarshee Bijon Bhattarcharya” published by Dwijewndralal College. .
