About the Authors

Leenapriya De: Presently engaged as lecturer in Sarsuna College, Commerce Department, Kolkata since 2008. Previously was engaged as lecturer in Prafulla Chandra College. She was graduated in the year 2004 from University of Calcutta and obtained master degree from University of Calcutta in 2006 and was placed in first class in both the examination. She was registered as research scholar in University of Calcutta, department of business management in the year 2014. She has published several papers in different journal sand presented papers at different national and international seminars.

Mahua Bhattacharya: Stood first in Humanities stream in the year 1975.Stood first class 2nd in Economics M.A. in 1979. Have been teaching in University of Calcutta since 1982 at the Department of Commerce. Joined Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta as full time permanent faculty in the year 1989. Have been teaching in the department till date. Conducted a number of projects, surveys, etc. with U.G.C. sponsorship. Authored a textbook on Micro economics jointly with Prof. Amitava Ghose of St. Xavier’s College. Successfully completed guidance of Ph.D. of a student. Another is waiting in the pipeline.

Anandaraj Saha: Anandaraj Saha is an Assistant Professor of Department of Commerce, Mahavidyalaya, Nadia. Prior to this, he acted as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta. His areas of research interest include stock markets, economic variables, CSR, sustainability reporting etc., and the application of econometrics and statistics in the field of accounting and management. He has to his credit 13 articles published in national and international journals. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has been awarded with prestigious President of India Medal for General Proficiency Award by the University of Calcutta.

Archan Nandi: Archan Nandi is an Assistant Professor in Commerce working at , Krishnanagar. He is a Research Scholar of the with a basic research interest on the Weekend Effect in Indian Equity market.

Pradip Kumar Samanta: Dr. Pradip Kumar Samanta is an Associate Professor in Commerce at the Department of Commerce of the University of Kalyani, with the experience of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Teaching and Research in Commerce and Management over thirteen years. He has a number of publications in journals of repute.

Sukhendu Biswas: Dr. Sukhendu Biswas Assistant Professor of , Former Asstt. Prof. of Karimpur Pannadevi college, Assistant Teacher of Gopalpur High school (H. S.), part-time teacher of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar college. M.A. In Bengali, University of Calcutta and awarded Ph.D. Degree from Kalyani University on the novel of Protibha Basu. Essayist, especially the community of women. Chandra Kanta Biswas: Chandra Kanta Biswas is presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy in Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya, Bongaon, WB, India, since 2003. After completion higher secondary education he completed his graduation in Philosophy from Calcutta University and achieved National Scholarship and completed Master degree from Jadavpur University. He is keenly interested in the area of philosophy of mind and recently he has submitted his Ph.D. thesis on ‘Transcendental Self and its Knowledge’. He has written many articles in different journals and books.

Mithun Das: Mithun Das is working at Banan College, Bagnan, Howrah as an Assistant Professor in Commerce since 2008. He had completed his Graduation from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 2001. He obtained M.Com. degree (with Accounting and Finance specialization) in 2003 and M.Phil. in 2004 from University of Calcutta. Previously he worked as Part Time Lecturer in Sushil Kar College and NSHM Knowledge Campus, Calcutta. So far, the author presented Five Research Papers in National Level Seminars and Three Research Papers in State Level Seminars organised by different Colleges of , India.

Nikhil Kumar Mandal: Dr. Nikhil Kumar Mandal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, , Nadia since 6th May, 2014. Dr. Mandal taught at Kurseong College, Darjeeling, 2005–2014, at Department of Economics, Visva-Bharati University, Bolpur College, Bolpur and , Murshidabad, WB, India. Dr. Mandal was awarded F.S.G by F.A.S, 2004-5, Bangalore on Ph.D. programme. The author has published one book, five papers in edited books, one in national journal and conference volumes. He has presented paper over two dozen in national and international conferences.

Sovik Mukherjee: Sovik Mukherjee is at present a Lecturer in Economics, Department of Commerce (Evening) at Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata, India. He is also pursuing his research in the Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Mr. Mukherjee has a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Economics from Jadavpur University (2013) and was awarded the Ujjayini Memorial Gold Centred Silver Medal, an M.A. degree (2015) and an M.Phil. degree (2017) in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He is a Life Member of the Indian Economic Association (IEA), The Indian Econometric Society (TIES) and the Bengal Economic Association (BEA).

Uwhejevwe-Togbolo: Uwhejevwe-Togbolo S. E. is a Lecturer with Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu Delta State Nigeria and presently the Ag. Head, of Accounting Department, a Lecturer II with interest in Cost Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Accounting. He hold various Qualification ranging from National Certificate in Education (NCE), College of Education Warri; Bachelors of Science Education (B.Sc. ed.), University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State; Masters in Business Education Accounting Option, (M.Ed.), University of Nigeria, Nsukka; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, PGD Accounting, University of Benin, Benin City.

Ajueyitse Martins Otuedon: Ajueyitse Martins Otuedon is a Lecturer I with College of Education, Warri, Delta State Nigeria. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant(ACCA), he holds a Higher National Diploma, HND Accounting, Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) Accounting; a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE); Masters in Business Adm. (MBA); Masters in Industrial and Labour Relation (MILR). The author is a member of various professional bodies such as MNIM, NIPM, NICM, ACCA, etc. The author has interest in Forensic Accounting, Financial Accounting and Taxation.
