Biographical / Historical The Joey Bishop show was a situational comedy produced by 's Bellmar Productions; the pilot, titled Everything happens to me, was aired on Mar. 27, 1961; a new format was adopted the second season along with a new title, The new Joey Bishop show; the second format lasted three seasons, two on NBC and one on CBS, and included Joey Bishop, , Guy Marks, , Joe Besser, Mary Treen, and Matthew David Smith. (titled Make Room for Daddy for its first three seasons) is an American sitcom that ran from 1953 to 1957 on ABC and from 1957 to 1964 on CBS. Episodes regularly featured music by Danny Thomas, guest stars and occasionally other cast members as part of the plot.
