The Pirates once again will play one of the nation’s toughest schedules, as the Pirates will open the season playing four straight weekend series against teams that advanced to the NCAA Championships in 2011 - CIAA tournament champion Winston-Salem State, WVIAC tournament champion Concord, Southern Indiana and Columbus State. In all, the Pirates will play 19 games against teams that participated in the NCAA tournament a year ago and Armstrong will face seven teams ranked in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll in 2012 - No. 2 FMU, No. 15 CSU, No. 19 UNCP, No. 21 Southern Indiana, No. 23 Georgia College, No. 35 North Georgia and No.
