If there is no hyperlink for a specific contact sheet you may request that it be scanned for you by the Nixon Library. The Nixon Library can provide the first 10 contact sheet scans free of charge, but any additional contact sheet scan may have a $10 fee. Alternatively, contact sheets are available to researchers free of charge in the Research Room of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, Californa. The fee is $20 per high resolution scan. You may place a request for photographic reproductions by filling out the order form and sending it to the Nixon Library staff member who has been assisting you. The order form is available here: https://www.nixonlibrary.gov/forresearchers/order/av.php-order ORDER FORM INSTRUCTIONS - Indicate the Collection, Roll number and Frame number: ● The Collection identifier is WHPO. ● The Roll number is in the digital file name of the contact sheet scan and is also usually printed at the bottom of each contact sheet. ● The Frame numbers are printed below each frame. Some frames may have two numbers and when this occurs you can list both frame numbers to ensure we scan the exact frame you want. For example: WHPO-3000-10/10A. NOTE: For your first 10 complimentary contact sheet scans you do not need to fill out the form - simply email the Nixon Library staff and indicate the roll numbers you would like to preview. For any additional contact sheet scans you may fill out the order form. The Nixon Library only provides digital reproductions. We do not provide paper prints. Copyright and licensing: Most of the photographs in the White House Photo Office (WHPO) Collection are considered "original works of the U.S. Federal Government" and are exempt from copyright protection. There are, however, a few exceptions. See the copyright policy statements included in the order form packet for more information. Contact the Nixon Library if you have any questions.
