GST), and that the Competitive Masters Subscription is changed from the split option of $250 for up to two regattas and $450 thereafter, to a $400 flat fee (incl. GST). PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE AUCKLAND ROWING CLUB CONSTITUTION The proposed changes to the Auckland Rowing Club Constitution may only be passed with a special majority vote (75%) by those present at the AGM as stated in Rule 38 of the ARC Constitution.

RESOLUTION #1 That the club amend Rule 10.3 as follows

Current Rule 10.3 Election: A person recommended for Life Membership by the Executive Committee shall be elected as a Life Member upon a unanimous vote of a GM.

Proposed new Rule: 10.3 Election: A person recommended for Life Membership by the Executive Committee shall be elected as a Life Member upon receiving 90% of the vote at a GM.

RESOLUTION #2 That the Club amend Rule 24.1 as follows:

Current Rule 24.1 Subject to clause 25.11, each Voting Member shall receive one vote and must be present at the GM to exercise that vote.

CLUB CAPTAIN’S REPORT The Club’s 150th year got off to a great start with the best results seen at the New Zealand National Championships since the introduction of Regional Performance Centres over 10 years ago. Whereas last year our success at Nationals was driven by our RPC selected rowers, this year it was the turn of our club rowers to shine. In total our club rowers achieved 10 medals which comprised one gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze. That medal haul was complimented by a further 8 medals from our RPC rowers comprising 4 gold and 4 silver. Amongst that medal haul the to achieve that success. WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP AND NOVICE SQUAD For two successive years, the ARC women’s squad has produced the fastest club four in the North Island, and this season there were more medals for the squad in the intermediate and novice grades. SACRED HEART COLLEGE For the 2018-19 season we were pleased to retain the coaching services of Head Coach Mark Clemo and longstanding coaching team members Mike O’Brien and Terry Dolan. We also welcomed David Graham, Camille Dignadice, Callum Smidt and Thomas Polo.
