The Violence of Aesthetics: Benjamin, Kane, Bolaño (Thesis Format: Monograph) by Nicholas Andrés Fagundo Graduate Program in Theory and Criticism A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies The University of Western Ontario London, Ontario, Canada Nicholas Andrés Fagundo, 2013 i Abstract This thesis is an attempt to grapple with and make sense of a particular type of violence which forms an integral part of contemporary aesthetics.
