Dentinger4 Abstract Pterulaceae was formally proposed to group six coralloid and dimitic genera: Actiniceps (=Dimorphocystis), Allantula, Deflexula, Parapterulicium, Pterula, and Pterulicium. Recent molecular studies have shown that some of the characters currently used in Pterulaceae do not distinguish the genera. Actiniceps and Parapterulicium have been removed, and a few other resupinate genera were added to the family. However, none of these studies intended to investigate the relationship between Pterulaceae genera. In this study, we generated 278 sequences from both newly collected and fungarium samples. Phylogenetic analyses supported with morphological data allowed a reclassification of Pterulaceae where we propose the introduction of Myrmecopterula gen. nov. and Radulomycetaceae fam. nov., the reintroduction of Phaeopterula, the synonymisation of Deflexula in Pterulicium, and 53 new combinations. Pterula is rendered polyphyletic requiring a reclassification; thus, it is split into Pterula, Myrmecopterula gen. nov., Pterulicium and Phaeopterula. Deflexula is recovered as paraphyletic alongside several Pterula species and Pterulicium, and is sunk into the latter genus. Phaeopterula is reintroduced to accommodate species with darker basidiomes. The neotropical Myrmecopterula gen. nov. forms a distinct clade adjacent to Pterula, and most members of this clade are associated with active or inactive attine ant nests. -

W POLSCE New localities of the apple tooth fungus Sarcodontia crocea and two other rarely recorded lignicolous fungi growing on apple trees MALUS SP. in Poland ABSTRAKT: Kolcówka jabłoniowa Sarcodontia crocea jest rzadko notowanym gatunkiem grzyba pod- stawkowego (Basidiomycota), pasożytującym głównie na jabłoniach Malus spp. W Polsce fi guruje na Polskiej Czerwonej Liście grzybów wielkoowocnikowych. W pracy przedstawiono 7 nowych stanowisk tego gatunku z Mazowsza, Wielkopolski i Żuław Wiślanych, wykrytych w latach 2011–2012. Wszystkie opisane stanowiska dotyczyły drzew jabłoni, rosnących w sadach lub alejach przydrożnych. Stanowiska ze wschodniej Wielkopolski są pierwszymi dla tej części kraju, a obecność kolcówki jabłoniowej na Żuławach Wiślanych potwierdzono po ponad 80 latach braku informacji. W ramach przeprowadzo- nych poszukiwań stwierdzono także dwa inne nieczęsto notowane gatunki grzybów podstawkowych z czerwonej listy: złotoporka czerniejącego (niemiłego) Aurantioporus fi ssilis (12 stanowisk) oraz bły- skoporka szczotkowatego Inonotus hispidus (3 stanowiska). SŁOWA KLUCZOWE: kolcówka jabłoniowa, złotoporek czerniejący, błyskoporek szczotkowaty, makrogrzyby, czerwona lista grzybów, rozmieszczenie, Polska ABSTRACT: Th e paper presents new localities of three rare, red-listed Basidiomycota fungi associated with apple trees. For the apple tooth fungus Sarcodontia crocea the description of basidiomes collected is given and new localities are described in detail, including fi rst records for Wielkopolska region and the confi rmation of the species presence in northern Poland aft er 80 years. For the greasy bracket Aurantioporus fi ssilis (12 new sites) and the shaggy bracket Inonotus hispidus (three new sites) new localities are presented. -

Type specimens of fifteen, resupinate, crustose basidiomycetes with aculei described by various authors were examined. Nine taxa are later synonyms: Hydnum albiceps Berk. & Rav. (= Phlebia fascicularis), Hydnum chrysodon Berk. & M.A. Curtis (= Hydnophlebia chrysorhiza), Hydnum hypochrum Berk. & Broome (= Dentipellis leptodon), Hydnum micheneri Berk. (= Steccherinum ciliolatum), Hydnum pallidum Cooke & Ellis (= Xylodon fimbriiformis), Hydnum schweinitzii Berk. & M.A. Curtis (= H. chrysorhiza), Irpex furfuraceovelutinus Rick (= Kneiffiella stereicola), Irpex galzinii Bres. (= Amyloporia sinuosa), and Merulius elliottii Massee (= H. chrysorhiza). Irpex fimbriiformis Berk. & M.A. Curtis (≡ X. fimbriiformis) is accepted as a distinct species. On the basis of comparison of macroscopic and microscopic features in the published literature (Thind & Rattan 1970, Eriksson & Ryvarden 1975, Rattan 1977, Eriksson & Ryvarden 1976, Eriksson et al. 1981, Wu SH. 1990, Stalpers 1998, Nakasone 2001, Bernicchia & Gorjón 2010), these have been identified as Crustoderma corneum, Gyrophanopsis polonensis, Hyphoderma argillaceum, H. hjortstamii, H. setigerum, H. setigerum var. bicystidium, Hypochnicium wakefieldiae and Radulodon indicus. -

Author for correspondence: Alfredo Justo, [email protected] Abstract: The phylogeny of Trametes and related genera was studied using molecular data from ribosomal markers (nLSU, ITS) and protein-coding genes (RPB1, RPB2, TEF1-alpha) and consequences for the taxonomy and nomenclature of this group were considered. Separate datasets with rDNA data only, single datasets for each of the protein-coding genes, and a combined five-marker dataset were analyzed. Molecular analyses recover a strongly supported trametoid clade that includes most of Trametes species (including the type T. suaveolens, the T. versicolor group, and mainly tropical species such as T. maxima and T. cubensis) together with species of Lenzites and Pycnoporus and Coriolopsis polyzona. Our data confirm the positions of Trametes cervina (= Trametopsis cervina) in the phlebioid clade and of Trametes trogii (= Coriolopsis trogii) outside the trametoid clade, closely related to Coriolopsis gallica. The genus Coriolopsis, as currently defined, is polyphyletic, with the type species as part of the trametoid clade and at least two additional lineages occurring in the core polyporoid clade. In view of these results the use of a single generic name (Trametes) for the trametoid clade is considered to be the best taxonomic and nomenclatural option as the morphological concept of Trametes would remain almost unchanged, few new nomenclatural combinations would be necessary, and the classification of additional species (i.e., not yet described and/or sampled for mo- lecular data) in Trametes based on morphological characters alone will still be possible. -

Clavaria diverticulata, Clavulinopsis dimorphica and Clavulinopsis imperata are new species, and Clavaria gibbsiae, Clavaria fumosa and Clavulinopsis helvola are reported for the first time for the country. Illustrations of the basidiomata and the microstructures are provided for all taxa, as well as SEM images of ornamented basidiospores which occur in Clavulinopsis helvola and Ramariopsis kunzei. A key to the Clavariaceae of Brazil is also included. Key words: clavarioid; morphology; taxonomy Introduction Clavariaceae Chevall. (Agaricales) comprises species with various types of basidiomata, including clavate, coralloid, resupinate, pendant-hydnoid and hygrophoroid forms (Hibbett & Thorn 2001, Birkebak et al. 2013). The family was first proposed to accommodate mostly saprophytic club and coral-like fungi that were previously placed in Clavaria Vaill. ex. L., including species that are now in other genera and families, such as Clavulina J.Schröt. -

Íàèáîëüøåå âèäîâîå áîãàòñòâî îòìå÷åíî äëÿ ðîäà Typhula (19 âèäîâ), à òðè êðóïíåéøèõ ðîäà Typhula, Ramaria è Clavaria âêëþ÷àþò â ñóììå 53.6% âñåõ âûÿâëåííûõ âèäîâ. Êîýôôèöèåíò âè- äîâîé íàñûùåííîñòè ðîäà â ëåñîòóíäðå ðàâåí 4.0, à â þæíûõ òóíäðàõ 3.7. Óðîâåíü âèäîâîãî áîãàòñòâà, ðàçíîîáðàçèÿ (èíäåêñ Øåííîíà) è äîìèíèðîâàíèÿ (èíäåêñ Ñèìïñîíà) ñõîäíû ñ òàêîâûìè äëÿ äðóãèõ âûñîêîøèðîòíûõ ðåãèîíîâ Åâðîïû, îäíàêî íåñêîëüêî îòëè÷àþòñÿ îò àíàëîãè÷íûõ ïîêàçàòåëåé äëÿ Ïîëÿð- íîãî Óðàëà è ßìàëà. Íàèáîëåå îáèëüíûìè âèäàìè ÿâëÿþòñÿ ñàïðîòðîôû, ðàç- âèâàþùèåñÿ íà òðàâÿíèñòîì îïàäå Typhula variabilis, T. lutescens è T. sclero- tioides. Ïî ñðàâíåíèþ ñ àíàëîãè÷íûìè êîìïëåêñàìè Ïîëÿðíîãî Óðàëà è ßìàëà íà Êîëüñêîì ïîëóîñòðîâå çíà÷èòåëüíà ðîëü ãóìóñîâûõ ñàïðîòðîôîâ (Clavulina cinerea, Clavaria argillacea, C. falcata). Êñèëîòðîôíûå âèäû îòìå÷åíû ëèøü â ëåñîòóíäðå. -

Fungus and Lichen Genera in the NEMF Database Taxonomic hierarchy: phyllum > class (-etes) > order (-ales) > family (-ceae) > genus. Total number of genera in the database: 526 Anamorphic fungi (see p. 4), which are disseminated by propagules not formed from cells where meiosis has occurred, are presently not grouped by class, order, etc. Most propagules can be referred to as "conidia," but some are derived from unspecialized vegetative mycelium. A significant number are correlated with fungal states that produce spores derived from cells where meiosis has, or is assumed to have, occurred. These are, where known, members of the ascomycetes or basidiomycetes. However, in many cases, they are still undescribed, unrecognized or poorly known.
