PAIGE BROWN ZHANELLE GEATHERS APPALACHIAN STATE | SR | S | SPANISH UT ARLINGTON | FR | OH | KINESIOLOGY Paige Brown enjoyed another monstrous weekend for the Mountaineers to help extend their winning streak to 13 and improve to 10-0 in Sun Belt play. Zhanelle Geathers provided a spark for the Maver- Brown tallied 33 assists in a straight-set sweep of Georgia Southern on icks over the past week, averaging 2.75 kills and 1.12 Friday. She averaged 11.0 assists per set and also managed one kill and three blocks per set in wins over Georgia State and Georgia service aces in the effort. During the match, Brown went over 4,000 assists in her career. Against Georgia State, Brown came within two assists of tying a Southern. Geathers best outing came in a three-set season-high and finished with an ultra-impressive 57 assists, including 14.2 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday night as she assists per set in a 3-1 win over the Panthers.
