Terms & Conditions for E-Bidding:-

1. The Bids shall be submitted electronically through E-Bidding on or before the fixed date and time. 2. The bidder shall submit the sealed bids with requisite documents including 2% Bid Security of the estimated cost + Stamp duty in the shape of call deposit (original) in sealed Envelope before closing date and time. 3. In case of Bid / premium quoted by the bidder more than 10% below Engineer Estimate, the Additional Bid security shall be sought from the successful bidder only to the extent of bid more than 10% below on the Engineer estimate in the form of Percentage. The amount of Additional Bid Security shall be equal to the impact of financial difference occurring in the quoted rates beyond 10% below Engineer estimate. The bidder shall be bound to produce the Additional Bid security within 03 working days from the issuance of letter of acceptance failing which the procuring entity shall forfeit the bid security of successful bidder may also initiate legal proceedings against the bidder who repudiated the contract under KPPRA Procurement Rules. 4. The bid security shall be forfeited if a bidder withdraws his bid, with in the Bid validity period OR In case of a successful bidder who repudiates the contract or fails to furnish additional security, if applicable, within the prescribed period. 5. Bids will be valid for One Hundred & Twenty Days (120) from the bids opening 6. Call Deposit of Scheduled Banks shall be acceptable. No Bank cheque or pay order shall be acceptable. 7. Incomplete, conditional and bids without prescribed earnest money shall be considered as non-responsive. 8. All the bidders are requested to download the bidding documents from the KPPRA website or can be purchased from the office of Executive Engineer, Malakand Irrigation Division, Malakand, on payment of Rs 400/= for each work. 9. Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 07/01/2021 in the office of undersigned at 12:00 Noon. 10. All the bidders are required to be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority, established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013(Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No.XXI of 2013) for works consulting and non-consulting services as listed in scheduled –II of the Act IBID. 11. All the prevailing KPPRA rules / Act and other Govt: notifications will be applicable issued from time to time.
