NOISES FROM THE BIG END

Recently we put the final touches to a new ‘Code of Conduct’ and have listed this in the Clatter, for your review.

We have received an acceptable quote ($220) to redraw the club logo as a permanent electronic image (vector image). This will enable us to reproduce the logo more accurately, without having the loss of quality we are currently experiencing, as a result of years of photocopying. Over the years, 4 different renditions of the logo have appeared and now we plan to have one, universal, image for all our artwork, as depicted in the original 70’s machine badge sketch (Inscriptions will be included).

At the Last meeting we had a laugh as several members remembered to dress up with their favourite Hats / Tees and Logos. We should encourage more ‘Mad Hatters’ at every meeting!

It’s not too late to volunteer for next year’s committee. Remember, any member from any branch can be on the committee.

We are looking for a volunteer to fill the role of Treasurer. Damien Olbourne has done an excellent job in setting up a master spread sheet for all financial transactions, making it very easy for someone to take over, therefore, anyone with a good head for figures and a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel would find it an easy position to fill.

We are also looking for a Motor Cycle NSW liaison officer to receive emails and ensure any, show day or rally insurance certificates are available to our relevant committees. This is an armchair job, easily done on any computer, just waiting for you to volunteer.

The Oberon Rally has been kept alive this year, however we are in need of a Rally director and sub-committee. All the preparation, with local community contacts, catering for morning teas, lunches, dinners and BBQ’s has been documented and is in place for anyone to run a future rally in the area. An easy job for anyone with a map and compass.

We also have a vacancy on the Sydney Events committee to help organise local runs, liaise with Greg Cheney to assist with updating calendar events and with the promotion of inter-club activities. A most rewarding position suitable for someone just like you.

Yours in Motorcycling………….David

THE VICE REPORT

What's in a name? Reading Alan Harper's comments regarding his namesakes around the traps in the latest Occasional Comments, reminds me that David Lewis is not exactly an uncommon name. One who used to get coverage in the media from time to time was a well known Antarctic scientist. There was an ABC reporter a few years ago also called David Lewis. I heard him many times on the radio before he appeared on TV. So that is what I look like!

But the David Lewis who blotted his copybook and really dragged the good David Lewis name through the mud came to prominence briefly about thirty years ago. And he only achieved his notoriety through a blunder by a Department of Social Security employee. You see, this particular David Lewis had fathered a child somewhere, and then shot through owing maintenance money etc. In an effort to find this lothario, the Department of Social Security send out letters to David Lewis's who fitted this chap's profile, saying words to the effect of “if you are the David Lewis who fathered this child, we would like you to get in touch with us...... ” Can you imagine the reaction at home if you received one of these “Dear David” letters!? Needless to say, the Department copped a lot of flack in the media for being so indiscrete. I don't know how many of these letters were sent out, but I think at least a few dozen.

I must confess that I felt a little aggrieved that I didn't get one of these letters, but a while later I was talking to a teller at our Credit Union whose brother was a David Lewis, and who did get one of the letters. I hope he had it framed!

The last epic Panther trip I have to report will have to wait a little longer, as I try to condense probably one of the most fantastic of all motorcycle journeys of all time into less than a page. Just to whet your appetites, the story is about two young Englishwomen who rode a Panther outfit and trailer from London to Cape Town, by way of the Sahara Desert in 1934/35. To call this trip remarkable is to not give it justice. A book has been written, called the Rugged Road. That is an understatement.

Yours in Vice (Presidency), David Lewis.

CLASSIC CLATTER – NOVEMBER Together with several other members I attended the King Of The Hill (KOTH) veteran, vintage and classic motorcycle hill climb at Springrange (near Murrumbateman) on Saturday 19 October. An interesting event – and thanks to a fierce unrelenting westerly wind spectators were able to taste the action (well, the dust at least) as the spectator area was on the downwind side of the course. The “course” was straight up the side of a deceptively steep hill, which due to the lack of grass and number of bikes was about 80% dust and 20% rocks.

A range of early British and American bikes tackled the hill, with a range of techniques used by different riders to get to the top in the shortest possible time. Some grabbed another gear once momentum had built, others seemed to stay in the same gear. Most remained seated to maximise traction until the series of rather large bumps at the very top section. Others seemed to build speed early and stand on the footpegs. As usual for these things the fastest were the smoothest and seemed to make it look easy and effortless (I’m sure it is anything but easy and effortless).

Certainly a new spectator experience for me, and a reminder yet again about how many facets there are in motorcycling, and how we motorcyclists in general don’t discriminate against one or the other. Does it involve a motorcycle? Yep, we’ll either participate or watch on – when it comes to hill climbing though I’ll remain in the “watch on” category.

Feedback from members has indicated that we probably don’t need to run the free ads on an open end timeframe so to save some space, and to save you from seeing the same ads after a suitable timeframe we’ll run “for sale” ads for three editions and “wanted” ads for six editions and then take them out, unless advised otherwise by the person placing the ad. We’ll apply this from the next edition and see how we go.

At the last Illawarra meeting I was handed a note from Chenelle Dickie stating that “While sitting at the back she observed lots of hearing aids in use, and that dad will fit right in.” Dunno what that’s all about as I didn’t think David’s Ducati was that noisy...

Thanks to all contributors and the closing date for submissions to the next edition is Friday 15 November. Don’t forget, for contributions: - Microsoft Word format wherever possible - For photos, include location, event or ride and full names of members if you want them included in the description. Email address for contributions: [email protected]

Letter to the Editor.

In reply to our Orange branch concerns about the Oberon rally I take this opportunity to allay your concerns by reminding all of the reasons why the Oberon rally is being organised as a joint rally under the direction of the AJSMOC.

As reported in the February Clatter, due to a lack of support at the AGM for a rally organiser and the fact that the AJSMOC had already planned Oberon for their next Jampot rally and for the following reasons, it was agreed to have a joint rally between the AJSMOC and CEMCC.

As President of the CEMCC the constitution does not allow me to hold any other position, therefore the position of rally organiser for the CEMCC remains vacant. Fortunately, as Secretary/ rally organiser for the AJSMOC, I am able to offer this joint rally solution, allowing the CEMCC to maintain the tradition of attending the rally in Oberon for 2019. Having a joint rally is a unique situation and an opportune coincidence, (considering each year the AJSMOC hold their rally in a different location), therefore next year the Oberon rally will revert back to being a CEMCC rally, assuming a rally organiser is nominated at the AGM. For insurance reasons the Rally is being run as the AJSMOC Downunder Jampot rally, with the CEMCC listed as an invited club (allowing the use of CEMCC club plated bikes). Rally entrants must sign and agree to the conditions on the entry form, which is specifically for the Downunder Jampot Rally and (for insurance reasons) this is why there is no reference to the CEMCC on the rally form.

Since the first notifications went out in the February Clatter, the rally has always been portrayed as a joint rally. Details of the rally, including the CEMCC involvement, are listed in a welcome letter on the AJSMOC website and were previously discussed with the Orange secretary in August along with details and updates appearing in 5 of the 9 previous Clatters. Since our AGM, in November 2018, all the rally information has been transparently shared with each of the committee members in Sydney, Orange and Wollongong for consultation with members at each club meeting. This is the first time concern has been raised about the rally.

Funding for the rally is being supplied primarily from the AJSMOC as well as a shared contribution from the CEMCC for minor items, like Trophies and rally badges (monogrammed with both club’s names). As the AJSMOC is subsidising the costs of Insurance, catering, raffle prizes, administration and transport, it was hoped the CEMCC would support the rally by supplying help with the organisation of labour for corner marshals, back up trailers and help with the Friday BBQ. Since February, numerous requests have been repeated in the Clatter for help and support, but only one person has since volunteered.

I trust these explanations overcome any misunderstandings and If members have concerns, please contact me directly as I am happy to answer any questions. I am endeavouring to provide an enjoyable rally, suitable for both clubs, but once again I ask for your support to help me make this ‘unique’ rally a joint success.

Yours in Motorcycling David de Lapp

Historic and Classic Vehicle Log Book

Transport for NSW recently conducted a review of the Log Book Trial, operating under the Historic and Classic Vehicle Schemes. As part of the Trial, Transport for NSW received feedback from a broad range of stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the program.

From 1 October 2019, the Log Book will become a permanent feature of the Historic and Classic Vehicle Schemes. Transport for NSW will deliver a number of improvements to the schemes over the next 12 months based on the feedback received during the review.

Existing requirements introduced during the Trial will continue to apply to participants, including:

 Vehicles registered under the Historic and Classic Vehicle Schemes can be operated for 60 days of general road use each year, outside of club organised events.  Each day of general use must be recorded in a Log Book issued at Service NSW branches.  Owners wishing to opt into the Log Book program should be a member of a Transport for NSW recognised Classic or Historic Vehicle Club, or Approved Organisation participating in the Log Book program.

Information and updates to the Log Book program and proposed improvements will be communicated to Historic and Classic Vehicle Clubs and Approved Organisations in writing in the coming weeks.

Please ensure Transport for NSW has up-to-date club contact details, including a valid email address, so we can inform you of upcoming changes to the Log Book.

If you have any questions related to the Log Book program, please email us at: [email protected].

Yours sincerely,

Melinda Bailey Executive Director Compliance and Regulatory Services Division Safety Environment and Regulation Roads and Maritime Services

Occasional Comments - Alan Harper In the shed my long suffering rigid Triumph Thunderbird has been undergoing a teardown after a noise in the lower end became too much to ignore. I wasn't prepared for the sight that awaited in the head with an exhaust valve guide insert partially pulling out and being smacked up by the valve, fortunately it has remained in place and I hadn't noticed any issues that I would put down to that problem. Valve guide inserts are common practice in cars but perhaps not common on motorcycles for good reason. I'll probably go back to new guides rather than inserts on this bike. The noise in the bottom end seems to be worn main bearings, I suppose after 40 plus years it’s time to replace them.

I have been analysing membership and where the members are located, this makes for interesting reading with the bulk of members now associated to the Illawarra branch.

Members  Sydney - 144  Illawarra - 280  Orange - 42  Total - 466

Above are generally based on the branch where the member joined. But can be a bit misleading, as there are 25 members assigned to Sydney who are located on the coast south of the Georges River, which I would say makes them more likely to attend Illawarra meetings and events while there are 8 Illawarra members North of the Georges River who could be likely to attend Sydney meetings, There are also 15 members assigned to Sydney with country or interstate addresses and 7 Illawarra that are country or interstate, so the figures could be argued to actually look more like

 Sydney - 112  Illawarra - 290  Orange - 42  Other - 22  Total - 466

The other membership item of interest could also be the age of members, it's no surprise to see that membership is aging as we are interested in essentially an older persons pastime. I was hoping to analyse the age of members, but I am not able to extract this field from the archaic Lotus application used for the membership.

I have spent a couple of days printing and packing the membership renewal cards for 2020 after I had the renewal form inserted in the Clatter and started to get renewals coming in, cards will start going out soon. I would encourage Motographix all members to renew early as you become unfinancial as at 1 January 2020 Motor Cycle Sticker & Decal and any bikes you have on club plates might technically become unregistered Reproduction Service if you are not a financial member of a club. I would also encourage you to pay PO Box 104 electronically as cheques are a real hassle for the treasurer as banks now Lower Snug TAS 7054 don't want to accept them over the counter and you have to feed them one by Phone 0439 883 164 one into a machine which often has difficulty in reading them. When renewing Vintage Classic Japanese English European electronically, make sure you have enough details for your payment to be and American Ducati from1954 to current correctly identified and send a completed renewal form (email it) to the “The World’s Best Range” membership officer stating that you have paid electronically with any receipt KAWASAKI YAMAHA number. Dave’s Diary No: 16 – AMC / Norton clutch differences.

Dear Diary, Having found at many swap meets, a variety of AMC clutch parts now residing in a box on the shelf. I decided to see if I could assemble one or two clutches to suit my up and coming projects.

Firstly I wanted to assemble all the best parts into one clutch and the remainder of parts for the second (backup) clutch. No problems…..so it would seem.

From 1957 to 1959 the AMC clutch used Friction plates with external tongues fitted into the clutch basket and plain plates with internal tongues fitted to the centre hub. Loose friction inserts were also used in the basket chain wheel assembly. For some reason all this changed in 1960/61 as all the tongues were reversed. Consequently, I found most of the parts non interchangeable.

From 1960/61, the AMC clutches were used on all Norton, AJS & Matchless heavyweight models and only superceded with the introduction of the Norton Commando diaphragm clutch.

Proceeding to use the centre hub from the earlier model with end plates and spider with later model friction plates highlighted the fact that all the dimensions were slightly different. The tongue groove widths end plate diameters, baskets and rear fiction plates were different and non interchangeable.

The only common parts I could use were the ¼ x ¼” rollers and cage along with the internal spider. I had noticed a difference in the Spider’s internal spline engagement lengths, (possibly due to wear), even though the part numbers are the same, resulting in a slight misalignment of the primary chain. Packing pieces were required to correct the alignment.

Early clutch baskets had loose friction inserts retained within the chainwheel assembly. Later models used friction pieces bonded to the backing plate (040584) and a solid chainwheel assembly (See images)

Early friction plates vs later friction plates.

It seems that both clutch types are interchangeable (as an assembly), for use with an AMC gearbox. So it doesn’t matter which clutch you use as long as you don’t try to mix and match parts.

The Story of Two Norvins (this article is reprinted after a number of member requests)

A brief technical history of the tuning and development of two of Australia’s famous road racing Vincent powered motorcycles. Namely, “The Corish Vincent” and “The Debenham Vincent”. Both bikes shared many features as would be expected when they were tuned and ridden by the same rider albeit in different time zones. Technical details supplied by Eric Debenham. Article and illustrations by Mark Mansell.

The photograph of Eric coming onto Conrod straight at Bathurst says it all. Flat out in third gear at 130mph engine doing about 6,800 RPM. Rear suspension fully loaded under the acceleration. Fully wound up in top gear it was timed at 162mph. (Corish Vincent pictured).

Those of us who were lucky enough to see these Vincent powered, Norton framed machines in the flesh will never forget the sight and sound. Not to mention the exciting racing they provided.

These were the days of the Henderson Matchless, ridden by Ron Toombs, the Mark Walker Special, ridden by Geoff Lucas. Jack Ahearn and John Warrien rode Tritons. Brian Hindle was an up and coming star on his Yamaha’s, Eric Hinton and Kevin Cass were going really well and Denis Fry was still a force to be reckoned with on his Manx Nortons. If it wasn’t Bathurst, then Amaroo Park or Oran Park were the places to be.

The Corish Vincent didn’t start out as a first up race winner. Keith Corish was a highly respected and very capable engine tuner. Initially it started out with 13.5 : 1 compression and 1.75” exhaust pipes leading to open megaphones. On its first outing it revved out to 6,000 RPM but to use Eric’s own words, “you could kick your hat along faster”. The problem was masking of the ports by the high piston crowns. The valve pockets were substantially modified to allow more gas flow. This removal of metal from the piston crowns had the desired result but it also decreased the

- 12 - compression ratio to 11 :1. Now they knew they were heading in the right direction and fitted 2”parralell pipes, raised the compression to 12.5 :1 by lowering the barrels and fitted 1.25”G.P. Amal carburettors.

The frame was a Featherbed International Norton and the Manx gearbox was used behind the Vincent engine. The clutch was fitted with full circle Ferrodo Manx friction plates. The original Vincent gearbox had been carefully sawn off by a previous owner. The original front brake was a double sided 8”single leading shoe B.S.A. unit. This was quickly replaced by a twin leading shoe single sided Manx unit which was really only effective at Oran Park or Amaroo for about three laps. This was upgraded as performance improved to Colin Lister double discs to arrest the heavy machines forward momentum. The back brake was from an A.J.S. 7R.

19” Dunlop triangle tyres were mounted on aluminium rims and the beaded edges were fastened to the rims with self- tapping screws.

Problems were encountered with the standard magneto. Ignition breakdown on the front cylinder being caused by higher engine speed not allowing enough time for current to build between the time the rear cylinder fired and the firing time for the front cylinder. To solve this problem a Lucas twin magneto was mounted off the timing cover and driven by the timed breather gear. Eric was admonished by Keith Corish never to fall off the bike on the right hand side. This instruction was never broken, and neither was the magneto. The Specialoid high compression Vincent pistons had a bad habit of developing cracks around the gudgeon pin bosses after a few race meetings so Eric always specified and got Willis pistons. Fig 1 shows why the Willis pistons were stronger in this area. They were slightly heavier but the balance was easily adjusted by drilling two small holes in the flywheels adjacent to the crank pin. This work was carried out by Charlie Ogden.

Eric has always been a firm advocate of straight parallel exhaust pipes, of the correct tuned length, instead of megaphones. His reasoning is that greater flexibility and a wider usable power spread is achieved with straight pipes. Megaphones, though slightly advantageous at only their correct operating speed, make an engine peaky and reduce its tractability. Even on Eric’s hydroplanes, he always used straight pipes. The now famous “Debbo Clamp” became a feature on his boats and bikes. Where two exhaust pipes are running parallel to each other and having to be clamped onto a frame or bracket, they can be secured by the use of only one bolt as per Fig 2. This has the advantage of fast pit work and also provides an equal clamping force on both pipes as the bolt is located in the centre.

- 13 -

Naturally as time went on noise pollution became a problem for greenies. We never found it a problem, in fact the sounds of racing motorcycles of the present era cannot compare to the sounds of big singles and twins in times past. Naturally, the bikes had to be quietened down and Eric’s solution was to cut a series of slots axially in the ends of the pipes as shown in Figure 3.

In its final race trim, the Corish engine specifications were as follows;

Bore; 84mm Stroke; 90mm Swept Volume; 998cc Compression Ratio; 12.5 : 1 Camshafts; Modified Lightning. (0.375”+ 0.050”) Carburation; 1.375”G.P. Amal (x2) Length of inlet tract; 11”from bell mouth to valve Fuel; Straight Methanol Spark Plugs; Lodge RL50 (x2) Ignition; Lucas Magneto Exhaust Pipes; 2”O.D. parallel x 44” long (1 15/16” inside) Oil; BP Coarse 50 C

Note; two front cylinder heads were used. This was to prevent breaking into the inlet valve rocker chamber during porting and polishing and puts both carburettors on the left hand side of the bike.

Following a series of disappointments, Keith Corish started to get a bit disgruntled with the machine. His final decision to sell the bike was made at Bathurst during the 1970 Easter race meeting after completely re-building the front carburettor with only minutes to the start of a race. During the race the bike blew third gear about one third of the way up Mountain Straight. Eric was doing somewhere near 115mph at 6,900 RPM in 2nd and as he changed into third the revs went ”sky high”. 12 teeth were sheared off the third gear wheel. Eric and Keith completely rebuilt the bike back to race trim before it was sold.

Eric still had a lot of racing miles left in him and with a bit of persuasion from Tony (Dick) Gill decided to build his own bike along similar lines to the Corish bike but incorporating a few of the features that Eric always wanted.

Illawarra Branch Minutes 14th October 2019

Meeting Opened: 7:30 pm Jim Cummins in the chair

Attendance: 67 + 9 visitors = 76

Apologies: Lester Hamilton, Mick Daley, Peter Van Linden, and Steve Ansell.

Visitors & New Members: J. Lawson, Mike Drobiszewski, Kevin Couter, Eric Wright, Barry Warden, John Gilholme, Chanelle Dickie, Sam Creagan and Chris Langmaid Correspondence In: “Tweelers” and Macquarie Towns M.R & P. C. magazines, invitation to Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club’s Tiddler Rally, and reimbursement cheque from Cronulla Council.

Previous Minutes: Moved John Morris, 2nd Col Elliott “….. that the minutes be accepted as a true and accurate record of the meeting. Passed.

Business Arising: Nil

Treasurer: Balance at September 30th $4,925. This included a profit of $152 on the show day. Moved (Mick Mellin/Col Elliott) “ that the Treasurer’s report be accepted”. Passed. Welfare Officer: Lester an apology.

History: Steve Ansell an apology.

Library/Technical: Allan had a visitor with a Bonneville holing a piston apparently due to weak slides. He wanted those particular slides right or wrong so he’ll probably be coming back soon. Some alloy casings don’t polish up too well. Consider VHT paint such as silver.

Regalia: Bill and Marie have sloppy joes, name tags, shirts, a sense of humour and belt buckles. Apparel can also be ordered direct from Ryan Gosling.

Events: **For the latest correct/updated information on rides, look up the club site.**

Show Day: 15th Sept: Held as usual at Cooper St. Reserve Engadine (which has the worst roundabout I’ve seen) the display had 114 bikes, 67 from our club. Everything ran smoothly thanks to good planning and 33 volunteers. Anyone with feedback feel free to let Jim know. There exists potential for a financial disaster should the weather not co-operate or some such occurrence. A deposit of around $2000 is required by the council and muddy ground could become expensive for us. Consideration of insurance or increasing income may be appropriate.

DGR 24th Sept.: (Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride) raised $95,600 from the Illawarra. 26 members and friends rode in it. I heard positive reaction to those that visited the timber mill at Bulli as I happened to visit there after they had left. If it was you, the impression you left was good for motorcycling. Thank you.

K.O.T.H. Hillclimb: 19th Oct. at Lake George near Canberra. King Of The Hill is an American style “impossible hill” climb. Could be a fun day.

Norton/BSA Club: At Stanwell Park beach 20th Oct. Moved Col Elliott/Ron Neale that this be a club ride. Passed.

25th Anniversary Wakefield Park 15th to 17th: Historic cars racing as they were meant to be raced.

Panther club meeting at the Dickie household this weekend. There will be about a dozen on show.

Rides Two Stroke Ride: Somewhat fittingly, there were 2 Two Stroke rides. On the 10th Sept. the route left the lighthouse and finished at the White Rabbit Café in Keiraville via Unanderra and Mt.Keira. The second ride was on 8th Oct. saw 16 riders congregate at Bulli’s Point Street Café. 12 2-strokes made the trek with the most unusual being a Russian Izh Planeta 3 350, accompanied by 3 Yamahas, a YZ 350, an RD 200 and a DT 250.

Ted Conran Ride: 20-22nd:The 3 day ride took in the southern highlands, tablelands and south western slopes and plains. 21 members and friends including Ted’s son John Conran participated in a great experience. Dam Ride: Sept Third Wednesday of the month Dam Ride was a non -event due to the weather. Next ride will be on the 16th October. Keys at 10:00 please. Tortoise ride: Sat.14th Sept went to Bulli and invaded the cosy, genteel folk with raucous bonhomie centred around those filthy, loud motorcycles. Really! Ten of the fourteen bikes were on club plates. Coffee Ride: Mon. 23rd Sept travelled to Robertson and met at the Robertson Pie Shop. Some of the 20 members broke their Macquarie Pass duck. Doug Newall swapped his Guzzi for a land yacht Harley for the ride down the pass. Different. Next ride is to Kiama Harbour. Ron Foye First Wednesday Ride: 2nd Oct. It is being discussed that the next ride is to go to Nerriga Pub. This would mean fuelling up as it’s 145 kms one way. Consider a different ride and plan for it. Perhaps a trailer with anyone’s fuel drums?

Monday Off-Road Ride: Four members and a guest had a stimulating sortie through Belanglo. Next ride is the 28th.

Coming Events **For the latest correct/updated information on rides, look up the club site.**

Programme Officer: Doug & Sharon Newall brought along their S8 Sunbeam. Bought for $5300 in Adelaide it was first registered 4/10/50. I tried to keep up with all the improvements and additions Doug and Sharon have made to the bike but failed. They have changed/improved the wheels, motor, electrics, lights suspension, brakes, filters, oils, sump, reed valves, painted or powder coated, and re-sleeved the carbies. Shame the seat is as hard as a rock.

Ted Conran Ride September 2019

I think it's important to acknowledge when someone, in fact anyone who helps or volunteers to make our club a better one !

On the weekend of the 20/21/22 September, Mick Johnson organised a club ride in memory of Illawarra "stalwart" Ted Conran, to Ted's old stomping ground of Kandos.

Seven club plated and seven full road registered bikes enjoyed the ride on fantastic motorcycle friendly back roads riding to Kandos and staying at the hotel/motel. Typical country hospitality was appreciated by everyone after the 440 kilometre ride and a great night, enjoyed by everyone.

On the Saturday, we rode 500 k's to Boorowa, via Mudgee, Hill End, Bathurst and beautiful Blayney. The rain started at Bathurst and the rain had a high dust content and all bikes looked like crap afterwards. We only had 150 k's of rain and fortunately cleared around the Wyangala Dam area, so all was good again in the world ! Boorowa is a fantastic bike destination with the same country hospitality and great roads in and out.

A fantastic weekend shared by members of the Illawarra and Sydney CEMCC , several from the Nowra Classic Bike Club and even one member attending from "across the Ditch".

So, thank you Mick, I'm sure I can speak for everyone, a Fantastic weekend, well organised, great camaraderie and we all had a ball !
