Originally the Western Region planned to have a special class as they did in 1995 but that plan was cancelled due to lack of participation. We are not sure how many, if any, Western Region members attended without cars. One Western Region mem- ber, Jim Ayres, did attend and took these photos. My beloved 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan convertible has been in my possession for one year now. The story starts, that is, three years prior in 2018. I was a freshman student attending McPherson College for their automotive restoration program. I was 19 at the time and chasing a Welcome to the dream in the field I love, automotive restoration.
