Weather Summary – National Weather Service (NWS) Impacts  Critical fire weather conditions continue over the mountains of San Diego and Riverside Counties through Tuesday, where wind gusts up to 40 mph will occur.  Lighter winds return Wednesday into late week, but weak offshore flow will continue over southern through Friday. Poor humidity recovery tonight but better recovery expected for much of the state through late week. Weather Watches and Warnings  Northern CA: o NSTR  Southern CA: o Red Flag Warning for San Diego and Riverside Counties through Tuesday afternoon o Heat Advisory for the Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, Orange, and San Diego County inland valleys through Thursday evening. Air Quality Index Map (airnow.gov) – California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal EPA) as of September 28, 2020, at 1200 Hours:  The California Air Resources Board (CARB) continues to support affected air districts and air quality agencies. There are 41 portable air monitors deployed throughout the state to support local air quality agencies. CARB will continue to develop plans and schedule air-monitoring deployments as needs and resources are identified.  Based on the current PM2.5 and ozone Air Quality Index (AQI) reported: o A majority of communities in Northern California, San Joaquin Valley, San Francisco Bay Area, and have air quality in the good to moderate AQI category. o Some communities in Tulare and Fresno Counties are forecasting to experience unhealthy
