NCC FOUNDATION TAKES CARE OF THE CSR (CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY) OF NCC Limited.

CSR Activities for the F.Y. 2019-20 SALIENT FEATURE OF CSR

The Salient features of the Companies Act of Aug 2013 are as under : The new rule is applicable from the FY.2014-15 Any company having a net worth of a) Rs. 500 Crore and above b) Turnover Rs.1000 Crore and above or c) Net profit of Rs. 5 Crore and above are required to take up the CSR activity

Minimum Three Directors with One Independent Director. The committee encourages the company to spend at least 2% of the average net profit (Before tax) of the previous Three years on the CSR activities. Profit earned out side India need not be included. The company may implement the approved activities by the board.

Directly on its own or through their non-profit foundation.

DISCLOSURE / REPORTING : The contents of the policy are required to be disclosed in periodical reports and also publish the details in the company official website. For any reason if the company could not spend the money the reasons may be indicated.

CSR STRATEGY :

Refers to what the company expects to achieve in next few years in different activities.

Focus on disadvantaged, marginalised and excluded families. Municipal Primary and Elementary schools Police Establishments Haritha Haram (Greenary) etc.

Trauma Care centres around highways. Rural development projects like Housings, School building, Library, Drinking water, Medical aid etc., Supplementing government schemes like Mid-Day meal. Slum development and EWS housing. Salary paid by the company to CSR staff. The company can liberally interpret the eligibility programmes, so as to capture the essence of the beneficiaries.

NCC housing colony – Alluri Narayanarajupuram, Antarvedipalem during the year 2019-2020 Company has undertaken to construct another 24 houses (16 units of 2 bedroom – each measuring of around 725 sq feet and 8 units of 1 bedroom measuring around 300 sq feet, independent houses each admeasuring 615 sq feet. costing Rs.2.80 Crores.

Project No : 1 NCC – Indiramma housing during the years 2008- 2009 and2009-10. The total area is 3.84 acres. The company in association with the State Government has constructed 168 houses for weaker sections in Antarvedipalem village, Sakhinetipalli Mandal, East Godavari Dist, AP.

The state government has contributed Rs.35000/- per each house. We have contributed Rs.55000/- per house. Each house is constructed in 90 Sq.yds and the built up area is 332 Sq.ft consisting of one bed room, hall, kitchen and a toilet. The amount spent on this project was Rs.92 lakhs.
