JUAREZ CONTINUES OUTSTANDING 2019: Saturday was another great afternoon for Hunter Juarez, as the speedy sophomore was active in the pass game. The Coyotes leading receiver had five receptions for 90 yards, including a 43-yard catch that led to a go-ahead field goal late in the first quarter. Juarez did see his streak of games with a touchdown catch ended at three, but moved into the Top-5 in the Frontier Conference with 390 total receiving yards on the year.

200-YARD RUSHING STREAK EXTENDED: Lost with the success in the passing game was a workmanlike effort by the Coyote running backs – rushing for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was the sixth-straight game with at least 200 rushing yards by the Yotes – the longest streak since a string of 8-straight 200-yard games in 1953. MITCHELL SEE STREAK END, ADDS KEY TACKLE: Kicker Kyle Mitchell was busy on Saturday, scoring 11 points in the victory at Carroll and currently leads the Frontier Conference with 40 kick-scoring points on the season. The senior connected on field goals of 30 and 34-yards – and is a perfect 5-of-5 on field goal tries this season. Mitchell did have his school- record streak of made extra points snapped at 51, but made his final five attempts of the day, while also making a crucial tackle in the second quarter that thwarted a potential Carroll kickoff return for a touchdown.

MOROSKI CLIMBS WINS CHART: The five wins in 2019 have pushed head coach Mike Moroski into the No. 3 position in the all-time C of I football wins list. The sixth-year skipper has won 29 games with the Yotes – trailing only the 54 games Anse Cornell won between 1916-32 and the 47 wins by from 1935-50.

HEAD COACH - MIKE MOROSKI

Mike Moroski begins his sixth season as head coach at the College of Idaho and has an 29-31 all-time record. His 2018 squad closed the season with a six-game win streak and ended the campaign ranked No. 22 in the NAIA - the highest national ranking in program history, with the six victories in both 2017 and 2018 marking the first back-to-back six-win seasons at the College since 1954 and 1955. Was named head coach in January of 2013 and led the Yotes through their "zero year" program, prior to the return to the field in September of 2014. He has coached a three-time NAIA All-American (Nate Moore), two Preseason All-Americans (Moore, Marcus Lenhardt), 12 All-Frontier Conference selections, 20 NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes, 14 Academic All-District selections and 87 Frontier Conference All-Academic Team selections. A native of Novato, Calif., Moroski played quarterback at UC-Davis from 1975-78, earning Far West Conference Player of the Year honors in both 1977 and 1978, and leading the Aggies to the 1977 Division II national semifinals. He was drafted by the in the sixth-round of the 1979 NFL Draft, spending eight years as a backup quarterback with the Falcons (1979-84), the Houston Oilers (1985) and the (1986).
