The Yotes had a football program every season 11/30 NAIA FCS (Quarters) TBD from 1905-77 (minus the 1917 season, due to World War I, and the 1943, 1944 and 1945 seasons due to World 12/7 NAIA FCS (Semifinals) TBD War II). The team was disbanded following the 1977 season, with the squad returning to the gridiron in 2014. 12/21 NAIA Championship TBD AT SIMPLOT STADIUM: The Coyotes are playing their 20th season at Simplot Stadium, beginning competition All Times Mountain unless noted, * Frontier Conference Game in 1964. MONTANA TECH DEFENSE: Can the much-improved Montana Tech defense stop C of I’s vaunted run game after surrendering 347 yards to the Yotes in the September meeting? Since that match-up, the Diggers have allowed a combined 258 rushing yards in their last four games (2.45 yards per carry), while their secondary leads the Frontier Conference in pass defense, allowing just 129 yards a game through the air. The Coyotes will turn to Nick Calzaretta (97 rush, 699 yards, 6 TD), who has three career 100-yard rushing games against Tech – including his 247-yard effort in September, with the duo of Dominic Garzoli (36 rush, 241 yards, 3 TD) and Justin Hellyer (26 rush, 183 yards 4 TD) providing a change of pace.
