Over the last decade Michael has performed in The Wharf Revue for Theatre Company, as ‘Jason’ in Adam Gwon's Ordinary Days, as ‘The Arbiter’ in ' new production of , as ‘Homer’ in Floyd Collins and in an Australian tour of . Michael created the role of Leo Szilard in Atomic - a new musical co-production between New York and Sydney. He has appeared in concert with Sydney, Adelaide, and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras (recording I Dreamed a Dream with TSO), at hundreds of private events the world over and sold-out engagements presenting his own music at The Basement in Sydney.

Showcasing his diversity, Michael starred in the title role of the Australian production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and as ‘The Artilleryman’ in 's The War of the Worlds, (through which his self-titled EP was released) touring arenas in and New Zealand and again in The New Generation (UK/Europe arena tour), released in cinemas through Universal Pictures. Other on-screen credits include ‘Jose De Sousa’ in Blue Heelers, Abe Forsythe's feature film, Ned, and ‘Kyle’ in The Wright Way for BBC1.

Falzon's live performances vary from appearing with QUEEN on ACA and Dublin's The Late Late Show and before a crowd of 100,000 for the AFL Grand Final at the MCG. Most recently Falzon has co-produced and starred in The Music of Queen at , at City Recital Hall and Swing on This to open Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2014.
