Robert “Bob” Whytock

Mr. Robert “Bob” Whytock graduated in 1948 from Mexico High School and then from the University of Orono, class of 1952 where he also attended and earned his master’s degree in education in 1954. After graduation, he was drafted into the army and served the Maine Principals’ Association in partnership with United States for two years. We thank him for his service. In 1963, Bob became the Assistant Principal, a position he held until Hall of Excellence he became the principal of Cony in 1976. Bob retired from the principalship in 1984.

While in graduate school, Bob served as assistant coach and started scouting football for UMO Inductees which he did for many years.
