Texas FFA - 93rd Annual Convention Welcome From the 2020-2021 Texas FFA State Officer Team Welcome to Fort Worth and the 93rd Annual Texas FFA Convention, presented by Justin Boots and Farm Credit. The Texas FFA State Officer Team is elated to join you in a week of celebration, opportunity and new experiences. Our world is in need of leaders like you who are willing to grow personally, build your communities, and strengthen the ties of agriculture. We are glad you’re here! Fort Worth has deep roots in agriculture, making it a perfect place to welcome our students and guests to its streets wearing the coveted blue corduroy jacket. This week will be unforgettable as we hear from our talented state choir, recognize state champions of various contests, provide more than $2 million in scholarships to hundreds of deserving members, hear inspiring messages from keynote speakers, and slate a new group of individuals to serve as the 2021-2022 Texas FFA State Officer Team. Texas FFA continues to grow with our membership having reached nearly 140,000 this year. Every one of those members, including you, signifies an undeniable passion to empower the future of our organization. This week, take time to draw inspiration, celebrate achievement, and be present in every moment. Texas FFA, we can’t wait for you to join us during the first general session as we embark upon a week of excitement. Throughout each session, we encourage you to take what you learn and implement it into your chapters and communities. We challenge you to light the way for others as you “ELEVATE” the 2021 Texas FFA State Convention! As a team, we are so incredibly thankful to have served Texas FFA this year. Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to serve you! 1 Texas FFA - 93rd Annual Convention Table of Contents Welcome..............................................................1 FFA Officials..........................................................3 General Information...............................................5 Fort Worth Host Committee.....................................7 Convention Partners...............................................8 Scholarship Sponsors.............................................9 Convention Committees.........................................10 Convention Schedule.............................................14 Officer Candidates................................................22 Keynote Speaker...................................................23 Leadership Development Workshops.......................24 Special Events.....................................................26 Texas FFA Alumni Convention Schedule...................27 Texas FFA Scholarship Recipients............................28 Award Winners.....................................................31 Chapter Recognition.............................................39 Lone Star FFA Degree Candidates...........................42 Honorary Lone Star Degree Candidates...................55 Texas American FFA Degree Candidates...................57 National Officers from Texas..................................59 Past Texas FFA Presidents......................................60 Texas FFA Chorus.................................................62 Convention Media Staff.........................................63 Texas FFA Area Coordinators..................................64 Texas FFA Foundation Ambassadors........................67 Convention Exhibitors...........................................68 Texas FFA Foundation Contributors.........................70 Convention Hall Maps...........................................71 2 Texas FFA - 93rd Annual Convention Texas FFA Officials TEXAS FFA ASSOCIATION STAFF Austin Large, Executive Director Carolee Frampton, Budget & Finance Coordinator Gwenn Cain, Membership & Services Coordinator Jennifer Jackson, Student Rec. & Scholarship Coord.
