He has also performed or recorded with Frank Sinatra, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin, Lalo Schifrin, Natalie Cole, The Temptations, Jon Hendricks, Tony Bennett, Tito Puente, Freddie Hubbard, Clark Terry, Nancy Wilson, and George Benson among others. Additionally, Scotty has performed at every major concert hall and jazz festival in the world at least once, been featured in the Asian Wall Street Journal, performed at The Academy Awards, and is in demand as a soloist and lecturer on jazz history. In April of 2008, Scotty signed his first recording contract as a leader withUnity Music. He has completed the sessions for his long anticipated debut CD, Say It Plain, with a worldwide release date set for May 19, 2009.
