Gus Boquer FSC, EdD stated in his opening remarks during the 1st Lasallian Youth Environment Summit held at the Salrial Hall, College of Tourism and Hospitality Managament (CTHM) building, on September 20. The 3-day event dubbed as “LIVES 2018: Lasallian Integrated Vision on Environmental Sustainability”, is hosted by De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) and De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLS-MHSI) and participated by 16 schools under De La Salle Philippines, envisions a vibrant and dynamic network of Lasallian young environmentalists to spearhead significant advocacies and projects geared towards environmental protection and preservation. The participants discussed the feasible approaches in dealing with environmental issues and concerns which could in turn be implemented conjointly by the summit participants to ensure a significant impact.     DATE • 13 November 2015 ISSUE No. 191 Visit To Hakodate I went to visit the Hakodate Community on an important matter on the third week of October. I was able to interview the three Brothers currently assigned there: Br. Andre Labelle, Br. Fermin Martinez and Br. Victor Gutierrez. While there the school was busy orienting prospective new students and parents, I appreciate very much the warmth and hospitality of the Brothers of the community. On my last evening we had an excellent Walnut Pecan Pie whipped up by Br. Fermin. While in Hakodate, I took the opportunity to do a three-day quiet retreat in the Trappist Monastery in Hokuto, about 40 minutes from Hakodate. Thank you Brothers Andre, Fermin and Victor! ISSUE No. • 1! of 8! Silver Jubilee Celebration of Brothers Dante, Dodo, and Vince On 31 October 2015, I celebrated my Silver Jubilee together with my batchmates Dante and Vince. Rather than writing about it, I’d like to share with you the citations in the plaques prepared by Br. Vic Franco.     Clement Castigador Camposano, Ph.D

    UPD_EDUC_EDFD_CV_CCamposano Clement Castigador Camposano, Ph.D. Profile Clem Camposano earned his Ph D. in Philippine Studies (Anthropology) from the Tri-College Program of the University of the Philippines - Diliman in 2009. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from U.P Diliman (1992) and a B.A. in Political Science and History (double major) from U.P. Visayas (1986). His current research interest is in the anthropology of contemporary migration, anthropology of education, Philippine history and culture, as well as citizenship and civic education. He has published articles in scholarly and peer-reviewed journals and has consistently presented academic papers in both local and international conferences. He is the current President of the Philippine Studies Association (PSA) and served in the board of the Anthropological Association of the Philippines/Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao (UGAT) until 2016. As a practicing ethnographer, he actively works with the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC) in providing trainings in qualitative research methods to the academic staff of various educational institutions. He also sits in the Editorial Advisory Board of Filipinas: Journal of the Philippine Studies Association, Inc. Dr. Camposano has had a long academic career, serving various institutions in different capacities. He is presently a faculty member at the Division of Curriculum and Instruction – Educational Foundations, College of Education, University of the Philippines Diliman where he teaches courses in the anthropology and sociology of education. Prior to joining U.P. Diliman in 2017, he was a faculty member at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) where he taught courses in Philippine history and culture, Southeast Asian history, social science research, political theory and political dynamics.

INDONESIA Echoing the compassionate spirit of Jesus saving Parahyangan Catholic University mankind, FJU organized the campaign to encourage Petra Christian University everyone to donate blood and save lives.
