highly sought after first win of the season Agoes on the line on Sunday when Parramatta FC hosts Sydney FC.

Parramatta conceded three goals last week in their loss to Wollongong and will need to tighten up defensively before the electric attack of the Sky Blues comes to Melita Stadium.

Sydney FC were impressive despite going down 2-1 in Round 1 to Rockdale.

Speed is Sydney’s weapon of choice, with exhilarating attacking options like Bai Antoniou, Charles Lokolingoy and week one goal scorer Chris Zuvela, and the competition new boys aren’t scared to use it.

ydney FC got their start to NPLNSW life off to Sthe perfect start last weekend courtesy of a 3-1 victory over Rockdale and David Zrdlic’s men will look to continue the momentum when they travel to Melita Stadium to take on Parramatta. John Iredale started the campaign with a brace against Rockdale and will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net again against a Parramatta side who had their fair share of troubles at Melita Stadium in 2016. However, the Eagles are more than capable of matching it with the best on their day and after seeing their round one clash with Wollongong prematurely abandoned they will be hungry to claim the scalp of the Sky Blues to kickstart their 2017 campaign.
