Davis Cupissa nousimme hienon vuoden päätteeksi I-ryhmään, Fed Cu- pissa naiset taistelivat hienosti, mutta jäivät III-ryhmään hävittyään yhden ottelun alkulohkossa. Nuorissa nähtiin hienoja ot- teita Otto Virtasen voittaessa Orange Bowlin, nuorten epävirallisen maailmanmestaruuskilpailun. Tyttöpuolella Oona Orpana aloitti läpimurtoaan naistenniksessä ja menestyi hienosti naisten kilpailuissa. Ammattilaistasolla oli yhteensä 12 eri pelaajaa, jotka voittivat vuoden aikana ammattilaiskilpailun – onnittelut kaikille!
