Entries must be made on this form and delivered to the Ashwater Village Shop, Maggie Edmunds at Fir Hill or Paula Howard, 7 The Barton. OPENED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SHOW Entries must be received by AT 1.30 PM 6pm on Wednesday 18th August 2021 Entries cannot be accepted after this time (Late entries accepted in exceptional circumstances subject to an extra £1 fee)

RULES

1. The Show includes in its area the whole of the Parishes of Ashwater, , , , North Tamerton, St Giles, , and Virginstow. 2. All Exhibits must be staged at the Show tent no later than 10.30am on the day of the Show.

3. All entries must reach the Secretary not later than 6pm on the Wednesday prior to the Show, on the entry form attached, accompanied by the entry fee as stated on the Schedule. No exhibit accepted without the proper fee sent with the entry form. 4. Any Exhibitor showing anything not grown in their own allotment or garden shall forfeit all claims to any prize. Any protest must be made to the Secretary in writing before 5.00pm on the Show day, accompanied by a deposit of 15p, such deposit being refunded should the protest be justifiable.

5. No exhibit to be removed before 4.30pm, but please clear them by 5.00pm. 6. Exhibitors must provide their own vases, plates, glasses etc.

7. The Committee hold it within their power to inspect the garden of any exhibitor if necessary. 8. The judges' decision in all cases will be final. This Page is deliberately blank

9. Only one entry per Exhibitor in each Class. 10. All Cups and Trophies to be returned to the Secretary 3 weeks prior to the Show cleaned.

11. Classes 1-81 are for over 16’s only. Classes 82 and 83 for under 5years. Classes 84-90 are for under 12 years only. Classes 91-96 are for 12-16 years only. 12. All exhibits are entered at the owner’s risk. Ashwater Horticultural Society cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits.

Classes 26-28 should be approximately 36cm x 36cm (14’’ x 14”) and need not have been grown in your own garden. Accessories are permitted. Pot plants in classes 5-9 should be owned for a minimum of at least six months.
