In the unlikely event a product fails to perform to our customer’s complete satisfaction, simply contact our Quality Control Department so that they can issue an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). A full credit will be issued after the return merchandise has been received. This guarantee is good up to 90 days after date of purchase. To return a product after 90 days from date of purchase but within a year’s date, a 15% restocking fee is required as well as an RMA# issued by our Quality Control Department. Product must be unopened and in the original packaging. Claims for damages due to shipping must be made at the time of delivery as carrier will not accept any liability. No special order product is returnable for credit. CREDIT POLICY: We extend credit to any established organization that has a justifiable credit reference with Credit.net Credit Reporting Service. We also accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit card payment. TERMS: Net 30 days from date of the invoice. We are not able to provide delayed billing or extended terms. DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS: No order will be shipped to any account that has an open balance of 120 days or older. COST OF SAMPLES: Sample merchandise either for demonstrational purposes or customer evaluation will be charged out at the appropriate fractional unit cost. HAZARD LABEL and SHIPPING MINIMUMS The hazard symbol denotes a product that has a Hazard Shipping Label. These products must be shipped by Common Carrier Freight Lines only. Due to increased shipping charges, we require a minimum order of $300 for all products that carry a Hazard Label. The symbol will be placed next to the sizes of each product that are hazardous to ship. VOC RESTRICTIONS VOC Products noted with this symbol (VOC) have VOC restrictions that have been imposed by air quality boards in specific states. They are NOT available for sale in the states of California, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and northern counties of Virginia. FOOD PROCESSING ACCEPTABILITY: This rating indicates where a product can be used in food processing areas. A product with an FPA rating does not automatically indicate that it is a food grade product. Ratings are listed in the back of this book. GSA ORDERS: GSA CONTRACT #GS-07F-0151L Products have been approved by the General Services Administration for sale to any Federal facility wishing to purchase them. Our current contract will last until February 2021 and specifies a contracted discounted price. Approved products are available at discounted pricing. All orders to approved GSA facilities must be submitted on GSA order forms. FEDERAL REGULATIONS: All products that are subject to Federal and State Regulations such as herbicides, disinfectants, insecticides and bactericides are registered by PRO CHEM, INC. with the proper government agency. The EPA logo denotes a product that has been certified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. EPA regulated products may only be sold in the states in which they are registered. The Safer Choice logo denotes that every ingredient in the product has been reviewed by EPA scientists. Only products that meet our Safer Choice Standard, which includes stringent human health and environmental criteria, are allowed to carry the label. Onboard image compression systems reduce the data storage and downlink bandwidth requirements in space missions. This paper presents an overview and evaluation of some compression algorithms suitable for remote sensing applications. Prediction-based compression systems, such as DPCM and JPEG-LS, and transform-based compression systems, such as CCSDS-IDC and JPEG- XR, were tested over twenty multispectral (5-band) images from CCD optical sensor of the CBERS-2B satellite. Performance evaluation of these algorithms was conducted using both quantitative rate-distortion measurements and subjective image quality analysis. The PSNR, MSSIM, and compression ratio results plotted in charts and the SSIM maps are used for comparison of quantitative performance. Broadly speaking, the lossless JPEG-LS outperforms other lossless compression schemes, and, for lossy compression,JPEG-XRcanprovidelowerbitrateandbettertradeoff between compression ratio and image quality.

Klimesh1 A classification map is an image that provides a low-level content description of a corresponding remote-sensing image. Each “pixel” in the map is the index of a class that represents some type of content, such as a type of vegetation or mineral, in the corresponding spatial location of the remote-sensing image. Classification maps generated onboard a spacecraft may be used as part of a region-of-interest image data compression scheme, and/or to provide low-data-volume summaries of the remote-sensing images. In either case, it is desirable to losslessly compress classification maps prior to transmission. In this article, we describe a technique for lossless compression of classification maps. Compression tests on sample classi- fication maps indicate that our technique yields considerable improvement, e.g., a 15 to 40 percent bit-rate reduction, as compared to existing general-purpose lossless image compression methods.
