These endeavors are Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the embraced and fostered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman ibn Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prophet's Mosque Crown Prince, Mohammad ibn Salman. Their continuous support to Dr. Abdur-Rahman Abdulaziz As-Sudais implement major expansion and development works that combine majestic architecture with modern technology has induced a Deputy Head of Media major shift in the services provided for the visitors of the Two Holy Relations & Affairs Mosques. Makkah Al Mukarramah It is a spectacular museum in which valuable relics of the Two Holy Mosques that were either replaced or discovered during renovation and expansion are displayed. Manuscripts, calligraphy inscriptions, architectural models, rare photos and valuable artifacts are showcased to provide visitors with information about the architectural and historical legacy of the Two Holy Mosques. Project of Glorifying the Sacred City The exhibition is brimming with ancient and modern collectibles that belong to different eras of Islamic history. For centuries, Muslims have recognized and fully assumed their responsibility of Al-Masjid Al-Haram. Maintaining its buildings and improving standards of its facilities and services has been always regarded with reverence and high esteem. For example, to preserve Islam's most sacred the Holy Ka'bah was rebuilt and restored several times throughout the fourteen centuries of Islamic history. The maintenance work included the edifice of Al-Masjid Al-Haram, Zamzam Well, the Minbar, etc. Gradually, and because of the constant renovation and expansion A Journey work antiquated contents of Al-Masjid Al-Haram were removed and replaced with new ones. The Halls of the Exhibition The exhibition is divided into seven sections: 1- The Reception Hall: This hall features a miniature model of Al-Masjid Al-Haram accompanied by both old and recent photos of the Two Holy Mosques. 2- Al-Masjid Al-Haram Hall: In the middle of this hall, the teak staircase of the Holy Ka'bah is showcased. This wooden masterpiece was manufactured in 1240AH / 1824 Gregorian calendar. 3- The Holy Ka'bah Hall: This hall exhibits samples of original Kiswah coverings in addition to the of the Ka'bah door ( The door's cover of Ka'bah ) 4- The Photo Gallery: This hall features rare photos of the Two Holy Mosques. 5- The Manuscripts Hall: This hall showcases a copy of the Holy Quran that was written during the reign of Caliph Uthman ibn Affan -may Allah be pleased with him-. 6- Al-Masjid An-Nabawi Hall: In this hall, valuable artifacts of Al-Masjid An-Nabawi are exhibited including the door of the Ottoman Minbar that dates back to 998AH / 1589 Gregorian calendar 7- Zamzam Well Hall: This hall displays an old railing of Zamzam Well with its outer ring and covering in addition to a linear model of the well.
