DAY 1 DAY 1: WELCOME TO KEMI Begin your winter adventure at Kemi Airport where our local staff awaits to greet you and transfer you from the airport to your hotel in Kemi. As dusk settles, the guide prepares you for an exciting guided snowmobile trip into the wild to explore the extraordinary beauty of Lapland’s Northern Lights*. 2 people share 1 snowmobile and takes turns in driving. Later, after enjoying a delicious hot beverage and light snack around a campfire, you are returned to the hotel. *Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Attractions: Kemi, Northern Lights in Lapland, Snowmobiling

DAY 2 DAY 2: SNOWMOBILES AND SAMPO ICEBREAKER Start the day with a traditional Finnish buffet breakfast before heading out for today’s experiences. This safari takes you by snowmobile (2 people share 1 snowmobile and takes turns in driving) through the beautiful frozen sea towards the Icebreaker Sampo that is anchored in the middle of the frozen sea, waiting for us to board. On board, a busy program is on the agenda: an interesting presentation about icebreaking techniques and the ship’s history followed by a visit to the control room and the huge engine room. You can also see how the Captain commands the vessel in the bridge. After lunch in the ship’s cosy restaurant, it’s time for the highlight of the cruise: the “arctic swim”! A special survival suit will keep you warm and afloat as you take a dip in the 0-degree water of the Baltic Sea! Before the tour is over, you will also receive an “icebreaking diploma” from the crew. After the cruise, we will continue the snowmobile safari back to Kemi. *Please note that for swimming/floating children needs to be at least 12 years old, minimum height 145 cm. 1/2 DAY 3 DAY 3: HUSKY TOUR AND THE SNOWCASTLE After enjoying a nice breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by car and transferred to a husky farm for a thrilling dog sled ride through the frosty forest and over snowy meadows. The dogs howl and pull at their harnesses to get moving, and as soon as the anchor is lifted, the dogs fall silent and eagerly start pulling the sled through the woods and over the plains. 2 people share 1 sled and takes turns in driving. Back at the farm, you will enjoy a hot beverage together with the musher before you will be transferred back to the hotel. Later in the afternoon you will check in to the SnowCastle. The SnowCastle of Kemi is the source of great pride as well as a true showcase of architectonic snow-work of the local constructors. The whole SnowHotel and the rooms inside are made of snow. Every winter the SnowCastle offers wonderful experiences for both children and adults alike. Great light-effects will add to the charm of the snow- and ice-sculpting as well as to the structures about the SnowCastle. The fresh, about -5 degrees Celsius breathing-air, will guarantee you sweet dreams inside a well-equipped sleeping bag on a good bed. You will have a memorable sleeping-experience in the SnowCastle! DAY 4 DAY 4: DEPARTURE Enjoy breakfast in the heated Service point. Transportation will then be provided to Kemi Airport in time for your departure flight.
