Purig is the land from the Srinagar, Gilgit, Leh and Zanakar stream at Lamayur to wanlaand Indus and is more or less equidistant from river (at Khaltse) up to Zojila from one these places. Hence being direction and from Ringdom and equidistant has been given the name Lingshet to river Suru near Indus of Centre or karogil.
