LANDESBERUFSSCHULE KUCHL
Kuchl is situated in the broad valley of the Salzach river, a small community of the county Salzburg. In the west it borders to Germany with the Göll massive(2522m)
Here live about 7000 people on Kuchl Salzburg an area of nearly 50 squarekilometre.
Even the romans had a station in Cucullae (the former name of Kuchl).
The picturesque landscape and the church tower were featured in the opening credits of the musical film The Sound of Music.
The so called "Holzgemeinde Kuchl" locates many wooden based Companies:

HOLZTECHNIKUM The Holztechnikum Kuchl is the biggest education center for wood-interests in Austria. Founded in the year 1937 the number of students was rising constantly. More than 1300 students and over 150 teachers are part of the Holztechnikum.
