On Sat 18th June Crewkerne held an ex-player reunion at their new clubhouse facility in the heart of the town. Past and present members celebrated the end of a long road to get the facility funded and built. Over 100 ex-players attended, sharing memories and stories over lunch before a first team fixture versus Wells 2nd which the home side won 73-0. Apart from having a great day with a good bar take the club have since been able to recruit a number of volunteers & supporters from their ex-player base, many of which haven’t been involved in the club for over ten years. The club plan to continue the event annually and build on their current 2 adult teams & mini section. They have just achieved Accreditation too!
