DANE COOK’S EXCLUSIVELY ON CINEPLEX ENTERTAINMENT SCREENS IN CANADA!

Toronto, ON (CGX.UN) – September 21, 2006 – Cineplex Entertainment announces ’s Tourgasm HBO special will show exclusively in Cineplex Entertainment theatres across Canada. The nine episode series, bundled into three shows per evening, plays over three days -- September 14, 21, and 28th. Select theatres as indicated below (*) will show episodes one to three and four to six back-to- back on September 21 beginning at the show time listed below.

Dane Cook is an inventive stand up comedian and actor who has quickly risen to the top of the comedy charts. His sophomore album, Retaliation, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, which is the highest ranking for a comedian in the past twenty-five years. Tourgasm is a comedy documentary-type series that follows Dane and three of his comedic friends, who are all in different stages of their careers, on a college comedy tour.

“Tourgasm was a way for me to show people what was happening in stand-up comedy and what was happening with me, however, more importantly I wanted to provide a place where my three friends, Gary, Bobby and Jay, could be seen not only by current fans but by new fans as well,” said Dane Cook.

The HBO special will be playing exclusively in Canada in 30 Cineplex Entertainment theatres. Tickets are $8.95 each and are available at the theatres listed below or online at www.cineplex.com.
