SERIES PRODUCER 2012 + Bargain Hunt is BBC1’s biggest daytime factual show and is the jewel in its daytime crown. Drawing up to 2.8 million viewers Bargain Hunt during Kerry’s tenure as SP, this popular and fun formatted show is BBC Bristol in production year-round with a 25-strong team producing 96 Year-round production and transmission episodes per year. Hosted by Tim Wonnacott, the series commands affection and loyalty from a surprisingly mixed demographic ranging from retied people to students and post- grads attracted by its gently irreverent and general campery. Kerry will have completed 12 months on this series when her contract ends in late April 2013.

SERIES PRODUCER 2011 Kerry series produced Channel 5’s first ever gardening series. This Garden ER makeover show was hosted by garden designers David Domoney Hotbed Media and Bonnie Davies - a brand new face, found by Kerry. 8 x 30 mins for Channel 5 TX summer 2011 She also spent three months working on project development for Series Development 2011/12 Hotbed media between October 2011 and February 2012.

SERIES PRODUCER and PRODUCER-DIRECTOR 2009 This formatted factual series follows the fortunes of six families My Dream Farm, with Monty Don new to farming. With little experience of their own, the advice of 6 x 60 mins for Channel 4 TX winter 2010 mentor Monty Don is crucial. Kerry also directed three of the six episodes. Jane Simon, The Mirror ‘Monty is back - and he's on explosive form in a new show that's far from a bed of roses for him or the participants. Imagine a cross between Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares - where our hero curses and browbeats a failing business into profitability - and The Apprentice.’

SERIES PRODUCER 2006/08 A high-definition documentary series, presented by Monty Don Around the World in 80 Gardens and shot in 24 different countries on 5 continents. Destinations BBC Birmingham include China and Japan, India, South And Central America and 10 x 60 mins for BBC2 Australia. ‘Around the World in 80 Gardens finds Monty Don at his best: Gerard Gilbert, The Independent passionate, inquiring, eloquent and self-questioning. When most gardening programmes are about practical Don seeks out the individual, interesting and epic finished products from around the globe, starting in Mexico and Cuba. It is a gem, or, in the circumstances perhaps, a prize orchid. And just to think that the BBC might well have commissioned to present it.’

DIRECTOR OF FUND RAISING 2005/06 Kerry took a sabbatical from TV production and spent over a year Butterfly World Trust raising funds for a new conservation centre. She raised more than £1 million before being seduced back into television production.

SERIES PRODUCER 2003/04 Documentary series that traces the history of entertainment magic The History of Magic from its roots in Shamanism to the glitzy 20th century world of BBC Bristol Vegas and TV megastars. Included several major, large scale new 6 x 60 mins for BBC2 magic illusions and dramatic/historic reconstructions.

SERIES PRODUCER This formatted factual series takes the lid off the UK’s most Death By … Gardening, Pets and Home 2003 common accidents and featured dramatic reconstructions – 3 x 60 mins, BBC Bristol for BBC1 sometimes featuring the victims themselves. The presenting team included Ben Fogel and Tommy Walsh.

PRODUCER-DIRECTOR-ORIGINATOR 2002/03 Documentary special that affectionately traced 50 years of change The Joy of Home in British homes. This documentary was directly commissioned by BBC Bristol then Head of BBC2, Jane Root. Interviews included Terence 60 mins special for BBC2 Conran.

Christopher Matthew, ‘Home is where the heart is. In Conran’s words it is as important as a mother and a father. With the help of some well chosen clips from the sitcoms of the day, this affectionate look at the British and their homes told us as much about ourselves as we could wish to know. With luscious The Joy of Gardening interviews with all your favourite TV gardeners and other people in the BBC Bristol public eye including athletes, footballers and Blue peter presenters. 60 mins special for BBC2 ‘The result was undeniably charming – part gentle social history, part James Walton, Daily Telegraph compilation of relevant comedy clips and part nostalgia show… By the end, the programme had been both entertaining and surprisingly informative.’

DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER 2000/01 Kerry worked closely with Head of Factual Mark Hill to develop gardening BBC Bristol, Factual Entertainment and lifestyle documentaries and series. This work resulted in 3 significant commissions, all of which Kerry went on to produce and direct.
