In all probability, these weather-factors act merely as stress agents, and influence only those pregnant women who have an unstable hormonal and neurovegetative equilibrium.'(Az- zarone, 1959) with the etiology of preeclampsia still in question it is comforting to know that one of the most unpredictable phenomenons in the world has been eliminated as causative agent in preeclampsia. ii ACKNOWLEDGMENTS I wish to thank my advisor, Dr. 8.“.
