o The CAP Grade of Cadet Sergeant was also phased out, and it was Cadet First (No CAP Grade replaced by the CAP Grade of Cadet Senior Airman, however the same C/1st Lt Lieutenant Cadet Airman Insignia is worn - wears Lieutenant C/AB Basic CAP Grade Insignia is used. In the (USAF), an O-11’s grade is General of the Air Position Abbreviations: Force; in the (USA), an O-11’s grade is General of CC = Cadet Chief the Army; in the (USN), an O-11’s grade is Fleet CV = Vice Commander (the # 2 at wings and above) Master C/CMSgt Chief . There is not such grade as an O-11 in the United States CD = Deputy Commander (the #2 at groups and below) Sergeant Marine Corps (USMC) or the United Stated Coast Guard (USCG), CS = Chief of Staff (the #3 at wings and above) since they both fall under the USN during wartime. XO = Executive Officer (the #3 at groups and below) CoC = of CCMSgt = Command Chief Master Sergeant o Although there exists CAP Senior Member General Officers as high , this pamphlet shows general officers as high as the CCF = First Sergeant , since through General of Cadet Senior the Air Force exist in the Air Force. CAP Senior Member Major DA = Administration Master C/SMSgt Sergeant General is reserved for current and former CAP National DC = Communications Sergeant serving after 1 December 2002. CAP Senior Member Brigadier DO = Operations General is a temporary grade reserved for the CAP National Vice DOV = Standardization & Evaluations Commander (held only while in that position), as well as former CAP DT = Training National Commanders serving prior to 1 December 2002. FM = Finance LG = Logistics The Senior Member Flight Officer grades are for those SMs between PA = Public Affairs Cadet Master o C/MSgt Sergeant the ages of 18 and 21. Upon turning 18, a Mitchell cadet can become a SE = Safety Sergeant FO, an Earhart cadet a TFO, and a Spaatz cadet a SFO. Upon turning 21, those in flight officer grades can get 2d Lt or higher. OIC = Officer-in-Charge (for officers) NCOIC = Non-commissioned Officer-in-Charge (for NCO’s) The CAP Senior Member Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Grades o C/ = Cadet Cadet are shown on this pamphlet, however a senior member cannot hold one of these grades unless s/he received a grade transfer from one of the Technical C/TSgt Sergeant branches of the military. (Example: An Air Force Staff Sergeant can Examples: Sergeant get a grade transfer to a CAP Senior Member Staff Sergeant.) C/CD = Cadet Deputy Commander C/CCMSgt = Cadet Command Chief Master Sergeant o The USAF Grades of Master Sergeant through Chief Master Sergeant Cadet Staff are shown both with and without a diamond in the middle of the Sqdn 3/CCF = Squadron 3 First Sergeant C/SSgt Sergeant Alpha/CC = Alpha Flight Commander Sergeant insignia. The insignias on the right are those with the diamonds, which denotes a first sergeant.
