Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn DMA, Inc. (BID) – Balance Sheet, 7/1/17-6/30/18 (Unaudited Statements)

GREETINGS FROM MYRTLE AVENUE As we look back at our accomplishments of the past year, we are grateful for an incredibly supportive community - a community of residents, businesses, and institutions who serve as neighborhood partners. All of you love Myrtle Avenue just as much as we do. All of you are its champions, ambassadors, and co-creators. As you review this report, know that all of this great work was the result of our collective commitment to making Myrtle Avenue a truly wonderful place.

The winds of change also arrived at our BID this year, with the retirement of Dr. Thomas Schutte, our founding board chair. Dr. Schutte was a fierce champion for Myrtle Avenue, and we are deeply appreciative of his leadership over the past decades. We welcome Kevin Shirley of Apple Bank, who is equally passionate about this community, to the role of BID board chair as he guides us into our next chapter.

In partnership,

Meredith Phillips Almeida Executive Director
