ME ~January 2014. April 2018. So what does motivation mean to you? Honestly four years ago this word did not exist in my dictionary. I look at myself in the mirror eating a bar of chocolate. 65kgs isn't fat. I look at myself eating red velvet pastry 70 kgs, uh but I'm still beautiful. 75 kgs, you fatso, hey baby elephant, muffin top, I got six packs oh but you got a family pack. People are humiliating and we can't do anything to change that, everyone everywhere will judge you by the way you look no maer what you do. To be happy the way you are, it's so easy to say that but deep inside everyone feels bad the way they were called fat or are called fat. And this is the world we live in, welcome to reality. I was 12 years old when all this started happening and people spoke to me just because they were thinner than me so that they could relish the joy of calling me fat. I would walk into school and people would ask me ''hey, how come you've become so fat'' they didn't speak to me they spoke to the fat. I couldn't bear it, and what else could have I done except for crying. Relatives used to call me "Motu". How humiliating can life be when you wear your favorite dress, your favorite lip gloss all ready to party and at the party there comes a scream 'hey motu, come here'. Sooner or later I realised the need to change myself. It wasn't that I was not happy the way I was but I knew I'd be happier if it changed. Wearing a lile black dress and going to parties, tell me which girl never desires this! I started with cuing out all sweets, chips, burgers, fried, junk, sodas, reducing my helping size from 2 cups to one, from 2 Roti's to one, and measuring the food I eat by using a katori…yes, I actually did that. Trust me it isn't easy, but it isn't difficult either! You just have to be willing to do it! THE SECRET is a book that has changed my life ever since I read it. This book gave me the motivation to do anything and everything. And that nothing is impossible. The 5:2 Diet Book has also been a great help. But above all this, the one thing that has made my achieve my goal is Dancing. Regular exercise is a necessity. Just cuing out on things won't help in long term results. Working for at least 2 hours a day is a must. It won't happen in a day, not a week, not a month it will take time, and it is all your hard work and your heart you put into it. Doing something half heartedly won't get you anything.Now I eat everything including chips etc but that too in moderation. Fruits, vegetables, and a bowl of salad everyday is a must. Do eat food every 2 hours and do not starve yourself. Starving makes the weight to gain. Rememeber …..

Hey! Everyone how fun and inspirational is it to see a Before and after picture, right? But do you know the story behind that burger to a salad? April 2016….. I come back from school,eat my carb-ly nutritious meal full of chapatis, rice, vegetable (full of oil and ghee) and then feed onto some chocolates, I then sleep for 4hrs wake up and straight head to the kitchen. My mother - won't you exercise? Me- (irritatedly and angrily) I've just woken up! I start watching TV with my hand in the bag of potato chips. That was the whole lot hardwork I did in a day!

Some weeks later…. This happy bean's so exited to go to the malls next day! Taking out my clothes , I've tried EVERY SINGLE pair of shorts in my cupboard- none fits me. I get upset and go to bed while crying. That day changed my life forever! From then I set a target at 1 month- I selected a pair of shorts that I'd bye and wear on my birthday which was exactly after a month . Hmmm ……………. I don't get why first we don't have TIME to exercise. But when we think that we can do it then we have time magically !Every day I exercised for an hour.Irrespective of the weather ,the routine and whatever came my way,I ensured to dedicate some time to exercise and then also became very careful of my eating habits. I saw myself everyday in the mirror and said- you're gonna do it, you can. Don't give up - you're beautiful and you are cared for. If you see me and think that you can't change, then you've got that wrong- you can, remember I also started one day. Huh, now you see I've changed a whole lot- I'm no more that bulky elephantine girl, but a girl who believes in herself. Care for your body - it's the only place you goa live in. Now I do eat chips, chocolates ,every possible thing that I want to but in limited quantity. I exercise and control my portions. Trust me , it wasn't easy to get my waist size from 33 to 26………… But it wasn't difficult either, now it's even difficult for me to fit in size ' xs' ! It feels so good to see yourself fiing in those lose shorts hanging belts all around. And yes this has been one helluva journey .Its worth every minute and every drop of sweat that has gone into it. And you don't know the pain and hard work that goes in it until you stop teasing others and see the CHANGE. And you girl/ boy reading this You may not be as thin as the leanest ones in your groups but you will be thinner and more beautiful than yourself- and hey it's not a competition with others to prove something to them, it's just a fight with you- the stubborn, stout you.
