All the courses were successesfully conducted by Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya. The Programme was inaugurated on 10th April 2010, with Guru Parampara Pujan, Vedic chanting and Maharishi Ji’s video Key Note Address to Annual Conference of the American Association of Higher Education, in 1973. Hon’ble Br. Girish Ji, Chancellor, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Madhya Pradesh and Maharishi University of Management & Technology Participants of Professional Development Programme in Chhattisgarh in his inaugural address said that Maharishi's Consciousness Based Education “Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, the founder of Consciousness Based Education, Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme has given simple, natural, highly effective technique to systematically unfold the latent potential of every individual. With the technique Maharishi Ji also gave the Science of Creative Intelligence (SCI), the complete principles of life into the educational system to make learning meaningful, relevant, intimate, and exhilarating. In this scientific age, Maharishi has restored to its full value the theory and practical application of age-old Vedic knowledge to develop full potential of human life and society, the science of consciousness. He also added that Maharishi’s worldwide organization is established in over 100 countries. The central goal of this international organization is to create permanent groups of yogic flyers in every country. For India Super radiance group of 3500 yogic flyers is required. Brahmachari Ji said that every Associate Institution should enroll that many students and should create a group of 3500 students in their cities. He said that India does not only needs to take care of itself but India is also responsible to create peace and provide invincibility to every individual and nation on this earth. In Maharishi Ji’s words, “these groups of yogic flyer will create and maintain a strong, indomitable influence of coherence in world consciousness, so that peace and harmony prevails, and the whole human race lives in peace, in a problem-free, disease-free world with perpetual peace on earth-Heavenly life on earth”. The conference was addressed by World renowned scientists, educationists and physicists including- Dr. John Hagelin, world renowned Physicist and pioneer in the study of Physics and Consciousness Participants of Professional Development Programme in Maharishi's Consciousness Based Education E-Gyan, Monthly Newsletter 4 and recipient of the prestigious Kilby Award, Dr. Michael Dillbeck, a renowned researcher International Vice- President, Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield IOWA, USA, and International Director of Curriculum at Maharishi Universities and Schools, Dr. Susie Dillbeck, President, International Foundation of Consciousness Based Education, USA , Dr. Fred Travis, Director, Center for Brain, Consciousness and Cognition, Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IOWA, USA. Besides International Speakers, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Prakash Joshi, Vice President, Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, India, Dr. T. C. Pathak, Director CPR, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group have also addressed the August Assembly. The aim of Professional Development Programme Participants of Professional Development Programme in Maharishi's was to train the Institutional Heads and Educators Consciousness Based Education in Maharishi’s Consciousness Based Education who will further disseminate Maharishi’s Knowledge to Teachers and about 20,000 students of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya. In the Professional Development Programme on Maharishi’s Consciousness Based Education (10 April to 13 April 2010) 55 Directors and Faculty have participated and in the second & Third Training Programme of Maharishi’s Consciousness Based Education 33 & 54 Directors and Faculty of Associate Institutions have participated respectively. Various aspects of life are handled efficiently by educating individuals in specific chan nels of performance. Education so far has been directed outwards, presenting only information coming from outside—for example, some Laws of Nature from Physics or from Chemistry. From Information Theory in Physics, we know that knowledge has organizing power. This has been the basis of giving education to students, so that they come out to be discip lined individuals, able to organize their lives and their environment. In the age of ignorance, when attention al ways used to remain in the outward direction, education also remained concerned only with the outside field of life. General education did not provide that knowledge which could ena ble active consciousness to derive nourishment from the unbounded value of creativity present within its own silent levels. We certainly want to accomplish everything in the outward direction, but without losing con tact with the inner source from where all energy and vitality flow. Much comfort has been added to life through present systems of education. A great degree of the knowledge of Natural Law has been uncovered and applied, and this has been the achievement of education in the age of ignorance. At the same time there is still something that can be added, and that is education to de velop higher consciousness.

It is the eternal knowledge of Ved which has resulted in making so many spiritual leaders from this country who once brought India to the position of “Jagat Guru". Ved is the eternal, undivided, indestructible pure knowledge. Over a period of thousands and thousands of years the ancient Indian Rishis with their visionary wisdom and foresightedness had enlivened this pure knowledge in their consciousness and later had expressed the same to their students. This way generations after generations the various branches of pure knowledge got unified to be known as Rig- Ved, Sam-Ved, Yajur-Ved and Atharva-Ved. Ved was not made in one period or by one man. Ved is eternal. Ved is unified knowledge of the knower, known and the process of knowing. The original Ved- the Rig Ved is about the pure knowledge of creation. Rig-Ved is followed by Sam-Ved. The third in the series is Yajur-Ved. The fourth is Atharva- Ved. In the Vedic literature, the system of education was just the ideal because the entire system was structured to support life all around.
