This is a more user-friendly system which should allow for more up to date information to be made available to our visitors and members, alike. And, for the first time allowing on-line booking to take place,. Our on-line secure payment system via Paypal, is available 24/7 thereby making it easier for delegates to book their courses electronically, from the comfort of their own homes/offices. There are links on the website to all the social media pages, so check us out and let us know what you think. We hope you like it.

We aim to have a continually changing selection of art available for public viewing as part of our charitable objects to promote the arts and artists and to provide for the spiritual well-being of society. Tuesday Talks—Winter Programme

Kathryn is a Minister of the SNU, serving Churches throughout the UK as a Speaker and Demonstrator. Kathryn also holds workshops both in the UK and abroad. As well as tutoring healing at the Arthur Findlay College during SNU Healing Weeks, she has developed various aspects of mediumship including the deeper states of spirit control and has continued to develop Altered State Healing, sometimes called Trance Healing, as well as Cain Healing. This workshop aims to introduce and guide students in working in these altered states so that their own connection with spirit becomes more tangible for themselves and other to witness.

Every Thursday, The Centre will host an Afternoon Open Circle. All are welcome to come and practise their own mediumship or just to come and receive ‘a message’ from the other participants. This gives everyone the opportunity to Demonstrate their own Mediumship in a supportive environment—we hope you’ll be able to join us. (This demonstration will be non-denominational) The circle will start at 2.00pm, Cost: £3 at the door.

Mothers & Babies / Mother & Toddlers Group

Come along to this relaxed, informal group to enjoy the company of other parents and toddlers, or other Mothers and Babies, in a friendly environment with time for informal chat with a focus on free play for the little ones - and of course tea, coffee and cake for the grownups! As part of The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre’s Psychic Investigation Unit, we have a variety of experimental evenings and investigations planned for the Autumn/Winter Season. Exhibition

As part of our charitable aims to provide for the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of society, we aim to have a regular display of art available for public viewing at The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre.

We are currently displaying an exhibition of art from some of the country’s finest young artists whose styles and processes include spiritual and shamanic art. The exhibition includes a contemporary and eclectic collection of both painting and sculpture to suit many different styles and personal artistic tastes.

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970)

Who would have thought one of Hollywood's greatest directors would have shot a film in the Scottish Highlands? This special screening is showing as part of the Year of Natural Scotland celebrations.

Overlooked on its release as just a pastiche, this 1970s take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes story is now regarded as a cult gem. Directed by the great Billy Wilder (Some Like It Hot/Sunset Boulevard), it is shot through with humour, intelligence and vivid colour.

As part of the 2013 Year of Natural Scotland, these screenings showcase how feature films, documentaries and television have represented, imagined and re-imagined Scotland’s natural landscapes, wildlife and biodiversity. How much of how we view Scotland is shaped by the images we see on screen? And how do Scotland’s natural resources inspire filmmakers? These films suggest some answers. Natural Scotland on Screen is a partnership project between Creative Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage.

This is another ‘first’ for The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre—come and support this film showing. What else are you going to do on a dark, November afternoon!!! Includes a cup of tea!
