Imaginez que vous êtes critique de films qui écrit un revue d’un film français. Le magazine francais pour lequel vous écrivez est destiné aux adolescents. Imagine that you are a movie critique writing a review for a French movie. The French magazine that you are writing for is for a teen audience.

1. Choisissez un film français (voir quelques suggestions au verso) que vous n’avez pas vu en classe. Pick a French film (see some suggestions on the back) that you haven’t watched in class.

2. Recherchez les détails importants en concernant le film. Research important details about the movie.  le genre  l’année  les acteurs  les personnages (characters)  le réalisateur/la réalisatrice (director)  le lieu (setting)  le scénario/l’intrique (story/plot)

3. Faites un critique du film. Write a critique of the movie.  Paragraphe 1 : résumé (summary)  Résumez le film pour vos lecteurs (readers). Summarize the film for your readers.  Ce n’est pas nécessaire de nous raconter tout– il faut encourager les autres à le voir sans leur donner le dénouement (ending). 1. L’Argent de poche/Pocket Money (1976) PG In this poignant and humorous film set in France in the summer of 1976, director François Truffaut chronicles the journey of childhood through the eyes of children aged two weeks to 14 years in. Among the joys and pains the kids experience are a double date at the movies, brothers who give a friend a haircut, first love, teenage rebellion and a toddler who falls from a window. Although the boys begin as adversaries, they soon find common ground, especially when it becomes clear that Jean is merely trying to survive the tyranny of the Nazis.

5. Cyrano de Bergerac (1990) PG Cyrano de Bergerac (Gerard Depardieu) pines for his cousin Roxanne, but won't reveal his affections for fear that she'll find his ugly features off- putting. So, Cyrano instructs the studly but stupid Christian how to woo her. Roxanne is entranced by Christian's beautiful poetry and letters -- all ghosted by Cyrano. But Christian dies in battle before he can tell Roxanne the truth. Depardieu won the Best Actor award at for his performance.

They try to shorten the journey by cutting across a private estate, which lands them in a bit of trouble.
