South Ribble Borough Council is in the process of preparing a Local Development Framework (LDF). All planning authorities are required to produce an LDF which is a folder of local development documents – setting out their vision, planning strategies and policies. This new folder of documents will replace the South Ribble Local Plan, which was adopted in 2000. 1.2. The Site Allocations and Development Management Policies Development Plan Document (DPD) is one of the
