Won three Bronze Medals, viz. COACHING ASSIGNMENTS : I was appointed Coach of the Indian Team for the following assignments : i) The Asian Satellite Badminton Tournament at Chennai, India in 1998 ; ii) The German Open and Danish Open in 1999 ; iii) Coached the Indian Team who trained along with the English National Squad at Milton Keynes in October 1999 ; iv) Indian Thomas Cup Squad for the Asian Zone Qualifying rounds held at Delhi 2000 and India qualified for the final round that was held at Kuala Lumpur; v) That participated in the World Junior Badminton Championship held at Gaun Zhau (Canton) China in 2000 ; vi) The All-England Badminton Championships, 2001 at Birmingham where P. Gopi Chand was the winner of the Men’s Singles ; vii) French Open Badminton Championship at Paris 2001, where ABHIN SHYAM GUPTA won the Men’s Singles Championship ; viii) Indian Thomas Cup Squad for the European Zone Qualifying rounds held at Eindhoven in February 2002 ; ix) Indian Squad for the Commonwealth Games held at Manchester in July-August 2002 ; x) Asian Badminton Confederation Championships held at Bangkok in 2002. xi) South Asian Federation Games held at Islamabad, Pakistan where the Indian Team won both the Men and Women’s titles in the individual events and Team Championships .
