Won three Bronze Medals, viz. Gopi Chand was the winner of the Men’s Singles ; vii) French Open Badminton Championship at Paris 2001, where ABHIN SHYAM GUPTA won the Men’s Singles Championship ; viii) Indian Thomas Cup Squad for the European Zone Qualifying rounds held at Eindhoven in February 2002 ; ix) Indian Squad for the Commonwealth Games held at Manchester in July-August 2002 ; x) Asian Badminton Confederation Championships held at Bangkok in 2002. xi) South Asian Federation Games held at Islamabad, Pakistan where the Indian Team won both the Men and Women’s titles in the individual events and Team Championships .
