These relationships also bring in much-needed funds to the Hospice, both as fundraising or as gift in kind donations. Just 35 years ago, Saint Francis Hospice opened its doors to our very first patient. Today we continue to develop our services to provide outstanding end-of-life care to this community but without the support of people like you, our work would not continue.

Will you give £35 today to help us be there for families who need us? Families like Joanne McCann’s who you will have read about in this edition of Living With Dignity.

If just 114 supporters were to give £35 that would be enough to pay for a patient to receive a whole week of care on our inpatient unit. While if 600 of you were to give £35 you would together cover the cost of running every single one of our services for 24 hours. Every single one of these services help families to carry on.

I hope you’ll be inspired to give today in our 35th year, knowing just what an amazing service you are part of. This really is your Hospice – of this community and for this community – and we’re extremely grateful for any amount you can donate today.
