Only 20 minutes drive from Perth, Adventure World is Western Australia's major theme park. It is only open from September until April but with over 30 exhilarating rides and a wildlife park, it is worth a visit. Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre "Fantastic Opportunity"

Encounter some of Western Australia's endangered native wildlife and learn how those in need of help are rehabilitated into the wild. Do not miss this unique opportunity, the chance to get close to native animals rarely seen in the wild. Established in 1962, the Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation by Stephen Michael Barnett Centre cares for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Approximately 86 volunteers and 15 permanent staff care for more than 100 animals at a time, including Bilbys and Western Barred Bandicoots. Tours can be arranged at any time, although a night visit proves a treat as many of the residents are nocturnal.

Armadale Reptile & Wildlife Centre

"Slippery and Scaly"

Reptile phobes beware! Slithery snakes and scaly lizards abound in this park. The Armadale Reptile Park was set up as a conservation and education facility back in 1995. They now house more than 200 species of reptiles from the venomous local variety to the more friendly python family and waddling goanna. The park also lodges a variety of other by Christian Englmeier on residents that do not belong to the reptile fraternity like flying foxes, Unsplash quokkas and enichindas. Only 25 minutes by ferry from the mainland, enjoy this aquatic paradise. Rottnest Island, boasts numerous fantastic beaches. Penguin Island "Bird Life & Snorkelling"

Adorable penguins and numerous seabirds inhabit this 12.5 hectare (30.9 acre) island haven. Penguin Island is a breeding site for 16 species of birds and offers a host of recreation for visitors. There are excellent snorkeling and surfing conditions, delightful picnic areas, lookouts, walkways, and a Discovery Centre with commentaries, guided walks, and scheduled by TheBiggestFunk feedings.
