Greater Geelong (C) Greater Geelong is located 75 km south-west of Melbourne. Population distribution across ages in Greater Geelong is similar to the state average, with slightly lower percentages aged 25 to 44 and slightly higher aged 45 plus. Growth over the past 10 years has been slightly below average, but forecast growth to 2022 around average. Around 10% of the population speak a language other than English, most commonly Italian or Croatian.
