Join our Innovation What’s the biggest friction development challenge you are facing in coming 5 years? Vote at booth 12 and let’s drive our innovation together! Part of the ROCKWOOL Group Welcome to EuroBrake 2018 in The Hague Welcome to The Hague, Netherlands, and the 7th annual EuroBrake conference and exhibition. For the first time, we are delighted to be located at the World Forum in The Hague – this offers a unique combination of city life, with a rich culture and history, while also being close to the coast. The Louwman Museum, based in The Hague, houses the world’s oldest vintage car collection, while Delft Technical University, one of the leading institutions for engineering and technology worldwide, is also close by. EuroBrake was created in 2012 to address the profound changes in the demands made by the braking industry’s customers and end-users, and to provide a forum for companies, engineers and academics working in the area of brake technology to collaborate. EuroBrake continues to develop each year and in 2017 we welcomed more than 1,000 international delegates of the highest calibre from 40 countries to Dresden, Germany. EuroBrake 2018 offers a compelling agenda as we provide an increased focus on global rail braking technology. For the first time, parallel to other sessions, an entire day of the conference is dedicated to this subject, while other key topics include brake emissions and brake disc technology. Our international exhibition features 100 organisations, who represent the entire value chain from leading industry players to new entrants – it’s a great opportunity to meet new suppliers. We are delighted that the EuroBrake Student Opportunities Programme returns to EuroBrake 2018, allowing us to welcome the next generation of engineers into the EuroBrake community. We welcome 50 students from around the world, who have access to an exclusive lounge, providing an opportunity to network with experienced industry professionals and gain career advice in a relaxed setting - we are extremely grateful to our sponsors who are supporting this innovative programme. We are delighted that you have joined us in The Hague, for what is sure to be a fantastic EuroBrake 2018.
