In particular, AFL GOLDFIELDS clubs are requested to provide any interesting news and stories (e.g. milestones, human interest, etc.) to the Media, Marketing & Events Manager and/or media outlets who will try to ensure appropriate coverage. AFL GOLDFIELDS clubs will have the following responsibilities regarding media and results coverage. 1. Submission of Selected Sides a. Women’s: Each club must submit their selected sides in the Women’s grade into the system prior to 12:00pm on the Friday preceding a round of matches. Players must be named in their corresponding position and must also have their allocated number entered into the system. Clubs will be allowed to name no more than a squad of up to 24 players. The system will generate an automatic email that will be distributed to all media contacts for their use as they see fit. The above still applies to clubs competing on a Sunday. b. Youth and Junior Girls: Each club must submit their completed team lists into the system any time prior to the coMmencement of their game with enough time to print out and use as the club’s official team sheet for match days. All grades must print off copies of their team sheet from the system. Team sheets which represent a 100% accurate account of the players who take the field on a weekly basis. Late changes may be recorded by hand on the official match day team sheet however these changes must be submitted on the system iMmediately following each game in time for submission of results deadline. 2. Submission of Final Results All clubs will be responsible for the submission of final results immediately following the completion of each game. It will be the responsibility of the HOME club to enter the final scores of each game however each club is responsible for entering their own best players and goal kickers for every match. The deadline for submission of all results for each match day is 6pm. Night games will require results to be submitted online by 11:00pm. All final scores, best players and goal kickers must be submitted by this time, clubs failing to meet this deadline shall incur a $50.00 for the first offence. A reoccurrence of the above offence will see fines applied as per the discretion of the AFL GOLDFIELDS Executive. There is no longer a need for clubs to ring through scores to the league as this service will be provided by each club. 5 AFL GOLDFIELDS FEMALE FOOTBALL CLUB OPERATIONS – GAME DAY PREPARATIONS Monday • Club Notes - strictly 150 words submitted to the AFL GOLDFIELDS operations manager. • Review team lists from weekend and submit any juMper changes to the AFL GOLDFIELDS operations manager • Submit any upcoming club events or new club sponsor adverts to the AFL GOLDFIELDS operations manager • Send any paperwork that may have been left out of paperwork submission from the weekend to the Operations Manager. • Ensure all Footy Record requirements are met. Wednesday • Contact the league regarding any queries ahead of forth coming match - this allows the Operations Manager to resolve any issues before the weekend. Thursday • Confirm player numbers with opposition club for forth coming matches. • Clean umpire changerooms and ensure all paperwork (umpire signatory book) is prepared in the changeroom. Friday • Check and print online footy records • Prepare all match day paperwork ready for the weekend - ensure cards, envelopes, score sheets etc. are ready and pens are available for team managers, timekeepers and umpires. • Submit selected women’s football squads of 24 players online by 12pm. Sunday • Refer to next pages for further details • Double check office, changerooms and umpire rooms for any paperwork that was not submitted • Review team sheets to ensure all details are correct and advise the league if there are discrepancies in submitted results and actual results • Inform any players who were reported that they may be requested to appear at the tribunal on Tuesday night • Contact the league by phone regarding any major concerns or email the league regarding any minor concerns. CLUB OPERATIONS – GAME DAY ROLES GROUND MANAGER The role of the Ground Manager consists of but is not limited to: • Ensure the umpires change room has the necessary paperwork. • Ensure both teams have supplied correct and timely team sheets to the umpires prior to the match. • Ensure goal umpires and time keepers have correct cards to score and record time with. • Notify teams of time allocation for quarter tiMe, half time and three quarter tiMe breaks. • Ensure all relevant paperwork is collated at the completion of each match and passed onto the person responsible for results entry / submission. • Ensure all football and netball paperwork submitted is correct and accurate RESULTS ENTRY / SUBMISSION The role of the results entry / submission person is to • Ensure that all required results and paperwork is communicated with the league results officer by the deadlines provided. • Collate all match day paperwork. • Ensure official umpires travelling to Ballarat are given the completed match day paperwork envelope. 6 AFL GOLDFIELDS FEMALE FOOTBALL CLUB OPERATIONS – JUNIOR GIRLS RUN SHEET Junior Girls Football Game Start Time Ground Quarters Breaks Game 1 (if applicable) 10:00am Half 4 x 12min No time on 2min – 3min – 2min Game 2 (if applicable) 11.00am Half 4 x 12min No time on 2min – 3min – 2min Game 3 (if applicable) 11.30am Half 4 x 12min No time on 2min – 3min – 2min Time Information Siren 09.50am Game 1 Sides & Umpires onto ground Three blast to indicate time to enter field 09.58am Two Minute Warning Two blast to indicate 2 minutes to bounce 10.00am Game 1 Bounce Single blast

    HAMPDEN FOOTBALL NETBALL LEAGUE INC By – Laws Updated: Season 2013 Junior Football The following by – laws shall be read in general across the league’s Junior Football Competition and shall be read in conjunction with the league’s general by – laws. 110 Playing Rules 110.1 All matches shall be played under AFL laws of the game and AFL Victoria Country rules and regulations, except in such cases and conditions where the by – laws hereby adopted are superseded by the league’s by – laws. 111 Junior Football Coordinator 11.1 Each club shall appoint a Junior Football Coordinator / s. 111.2 Each Junior Football Coordinator / s must sign a AFL Victoria Country registration form and be registered on AFL Footyweb with their club prior to the start of the current season. 111.3 Any club that does not appoint a football coordinator shall incur a fine of $250. 111.4 The Junior Football Coordinator / s shall have a working with children check and a copy of this must be supplied to the league prior to the start of the current season. 111.5 Any Junior Football Coordinator that does not have a working with children check and / or has failed to supply the league with a copy shall incur a fine of $50. 112 Player Registrations 112.1 All players shall be registered with the AFL Victoria Country 112.2 Each player must sign an AFL Victoria Country registration form and be registered on AFL Footyweb with their club prior to the start of the current season. 112.3 Any player wishing to play after the start of the current season and who is not registered with the AFL Victoria Country on AFL Footyweb with their club, must complete the registration prior to the match they wish to participate in.

PERMITS There are a number of ways in which a player can participate with another club without being transferred (cleared) to that club. These are all covered under AFL Victoria Country Regulation 2.0. AFL Victoria Country Permit: A player can play up to eight games with a major league club but these games can only be with the senior grade competition:- neither reserves nor underage. (refer to AFL Victoria Country regulations 2.1 – 2.8) AFL Victoria Country Student permits: A student living away from home and returning to his former club during registered school holidays or semester breaks may apply for a permit to play with his former club. (The definition of “former club” is the last club he was registered with prior to being transferred to his current club) (refer to AFL Victoria Country regulation 2.11) Special Circumstances Permit: AFL Victoria Country regulations allow for a player to be temporarily transferred to another club if their current club has gone into recess or their current club is affiliated with a league that has delayed their season start due to the grounds being drought affected (refer to AFL Victoria Country regulation 2.13) Under Age Compassionate Permit: A player under the age of 16 years (as at 1st January in the current year) who is in the situation where his parents have separated and special custody arrangements exist may be eligible to apply for a permit to play at a second club which is more than 150km away for his/her first club.
