As part of the Giants Fan Page, fans can now, for the first time, learn about and view memorabilia from our collection. With the 2020 Major League Draft this week, the vault will take a look at how the Giants used to keep track of infor- mation on players in the draft. The Giants used to use a gi- ant Rolodex to keep track of who they'd scouted for the up- coming draft. The Rolodex, and all its contents, would be loaded up prior to the team's departure for whichever city the draft was in. Whenever someone was picked, their card was removed so the team always knew who was still available. On the right you'll see a card with the Giants scouting report on John Elway for the 1979 draft.
