Prince Pückler would have been delighted: Finally, seven decades down the line, it is possible to experience once again the artificial waterworks at . Gushing waterfalls, peaceful lakes with myriad coves, and bubbling fountains enliven this park at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the -Potsdam park landscape. The decorative garden terraces that William and Augusta, the Prussian princely couple, had laid out around Babelsberg Palace according to the ideas of this eccentric garden designer, have also been restored and now shine with new splendor. This is reason enough for the Prussian and Gardens Foundation Berlin- (SPSG) to dedicate an exhibition to the garden architect Prince Pückler at Babelsberg Palace, the very center of his most important creations. From the end of April to mid- October 2017, Babelsberg Palace will be opening up its to date unrestored rooms, making it possible for visitors to look out through the large windows that afford fascinating views to the renovated terraces, Babelsberg Park, and the Potsdam park landscape.

If you are coming by bus, please note that there are no parking spaces for buses in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition location. But the stop called " Babelsberg" on the boulevard to Glienicke at least affords an opportunity to allow your group to get off and board the bus again there. The path from the bus stop to Babelsberg Palace is about 550 meters (about a 7-minute walk). For tourist bus parking, please follow signs for the city's bus parking spaces. Due to the narrowness of the street, arriving by bus through the Lankestraße is not recommended. For directions, kindly consult the City of Potsdam's transportation mobility information at www.mobil-potsdam.de/de/parken/touristenbusparkplaetze/

Should you come by car, you may park at the parking lot on the Allee nach Glienicke. Places are limited (around 50 places only).

Bicycle racks are available at the Rose stairs, at the Steam Engine House and at the Small Palace (nowadays a restaurant). Please observe the general regulations of the usage of the park. The rules within the Babelsberg Park are to be respected. Bicycling is only permitted on designated routes.

If you choose to make use of the environmentally-friendly public transportation facilities (ÖPNV), we recommend that you consult the information pages of Deutsche Bahn ( www.bahn.de ) or respectively, the Berlin suburban trains ( www.s-bahn-berlin.de ), the VIP transportation authority in Potsdam ( www.swp-potsdam.de ) or the regional transport authority of Berlin-Brandenburg (www.vbb.de ).

Arriving by water taxi or with the tourist ships of the Weisse Flotte Potsdam GmbH and getting off at the Babelsberg Park dock, presents an alternative approach with lots of different things to see.
